Brock Lesnar Returns to WWE: Who Will He Feud with Next?

Hector DiazJan 28, 2013

Coming off the heels of a two-year extension with WWE, Brock Lesnar made his return on Monday's edition of Raw.

The final segment of the match involved Vince McMahon confronting CM Punk's current manager, Paul Heyman, on accusations that he was directly involved with both Brad Maddox and The Shield.

McMahon did give Heyman an opportunity to confess, but the former face of ECW vehemently denied that it was him. In fact, he used their location, Las Vegas, as the scapegoat by blaming it on the variety of impersonators that the city is known for.

As Vince McMahon was about to utter the two words he is most known for, he was interrupted by Brock Lesnar.

Heyman, of course, has managed Lesnar throughout his career. Lesnar was last seen on Tout, where he declared that he would never return to WWE.

His return was inevitable. In fact, it was spoiled by WWE, whose WWE Universe Twitter account posted a picture of the former WWE undisputed champion before his appearance on Raw:

"

Look who just walked in the door at #RAW! twitter.com/WWEUniverse/st…

— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) January 29, 2013"

Lesnar stalled for a few moments upon entering the ring before delivering an F5 to Vince McMahon, which implies that he may restart his feud with Triple H.

Vince McMahon is no spring chicken; he can no longer be physically involved in feuds like he was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Bringing in Triple H to defend him rekindles the SummerSlam fight between Lesnar and Triple H and adds more to the personal vendetta that Lesnar has been aiming for.

Lesnar and Heyman have previously insulted Stephanie McMahon and her children. Involving Vince adds more to the idle storyline and makes it progress just enough so that both Lesnar and Triple H have plenty to work with for the upcoming weeks.

And considering that these two talents wrestle on a part-time basis, it is a good way to build up a WrestleMania rematch between the two superstars.
