Team Hell No: Examining Potential Scenarios for Their Inevitable Split
When and how will Team Hell No split up? (photo credit: wwe.com)

Team Hell No is one of the best tag teams in history, but currently by far the most successful and entertaining. However, the end of their pairing is inevitable.

Team Rhodes Scholars is most likely the team to dethrone Kane and Daniel Bryan as tag-team champions, but will they cause the two dysfunctional Superstars to split up?

Let’s examine potential scenarios for Team Hell No’s unavoidable separation.

Royal Rumble

Kane eliminated a record 11 superstars in 2001
The Royal Rumble could signal the end of Team Hell No, depending on a number of possible situations.

Kane and Daniel Bryan are expected to be among the 30 participants in the Rumble match.

What if one wins the Rumble match?

Daniel Bryan was among my top five Superstars most likely to win the Rumble match due to the fact that I believe Bryan will get a big singles push in 2013.

Kane also has an opportunity to win the Rumble. The Big Red Machine is one of the most dominant Superstars in the history of the match, especially considering his record number of eliminations in one Royal Rumble match. However, he has never been able to win. Is Kane’s time to win the Rumble upon us, or is it too late?

If either Kane or Daniel Bryan wins the Royal Rumble, it may lead to that Superstar breaking away from the team to pursue a World Title.

Another possibility within the Royal Rumble that could signal the end for Team Hell No is if Kane or Daniel Bryan were to eliminate the other in the match.

In 2003, Kane eliminated his tag-team partner at the time, RVD, in the Royal Rumble, but it wasn’t until months later that the team ended their run.

It would be quite entertaining to see Kane be his dominant self in the match only for Daniel Bryan to eliminate his tag-team partner.

Dr. Shelby

Team Hell No is reevaluated by Dr. Shelby during Raw's 20th anniversary
Kane and Daniel Bryan’s anger management therapist, Dr. Shelby, has shown up on WWE TV from time to time trying to help Team Hell No get along. However, his participation may lead to the demise of the tag team.

Even though he didn’t make my list of WWE characters who should be managers right now (maybe because he is rarely on WWE TV), Dr. Shelby should be Team Hell No’s manager. He adds even more comedy and entertainment to the already funny and fun-to-watch tag team.

However, eventually Dr. Shelby could turn on one or both members of Team Hell No.

Dr. Shelby could side with Kane, have him become a monster again and use him to try to test Daniel Bryan’s anger management.

Or Dr. Shelby could turn on both members and side with Team Rhodes Scholars.

The interaction between Shelby, Sandow and Rhodes was fantastic on Raw, resulting in hope that Shelby continues his involvement with the feud between the two teams.

If you recall, when Sunny was managing various tag teams in 1994 and 1995, she would turn on each team to manage the new tag-team champions. Dr. Shelby may be wise to do the same when Team Hell No loses the gold to Team Rhodes Scholars.

As great of a tag team as Daniel Bryan and Kane make, their run as tag-team champions and tag-team partners will come to end. The only questions are when and how.

When and how do you think Team Hell No will split up? Please leave your comments, suggestions and ideas in the section below.

Sincerely,

Seth
