Ray Lewis Video: Watch Emotional Linebacker Celebrate After Ravens' Win

Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis lives on to play another day.

Most expected Lewis' amazing career to come to an end on Saturday. He informed his teammates before the playoffs began that this would be his last season in the NFL (h/t The Baltimore Sun)

His Ravens traveled to Denver as heavy underdogs to take on a red-hot Broncos team. But four quarters and two overtimes of inspired football later, the Ravens came out on top.

Lewis—widely known for his emotional leadership style—couldn't fight back tears as he soaked up the moment on the field and absorbed the fact that his team is headed to the AFC Championship game.

The Ravens defense was tasked with a great challenge heading into the game. With Peyton Manning at the helm, the Broncos have been one of the best offensive teams in the league. However, the Ravens were able to keep the MVP candidate in check, forcing him to throw two interceptions and sacking him three times.

Considering that two of Denver's touchdowns came on kickoff returns, the Ravens defense did an exceptional job of keeping the Broncos at bay.

Lewis' desire to extend his career for at least another week was apparent—the middle linebacker tallied a team-leading 17 tackles including one for a loss. He was also a key player in the Ravens coverage of Jacob Tamme, who was held to three catches for 44 yards.

The Ravens will look to continue their magical run next Sunday against the winner of this Sunday's divisional playoff game between the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans.
