Under the direction of head coach Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M has become one of the hottest recruiting programs in college football.

The Aggies were arguably the most exciting team in the country this past regular season—and the good news for A&M recruiting is that Heisman winning quarterback Johnny Manziel was only in his freshman year.

The hype surrounding the program is only going to continue to grow, and that's great for recruiting. Elite recruits will be drawn to play for Texas A&M. In fact, they already are.

If you're a fan of Texas A&M football or even just college football recruiting in general, consider this to be your "one stop shop" for Texas A&M recruiting.

You'll find all the news, analysis and updates on commitments and targets that you'll ever need, right here.

Update: Texas A&M is making some noise in the college football recruiting world. Barton Simmons of 247Sports just recently named Texas A&M one of the five hottest teams in recruiting right now in his "Hot and Not" column.

Here's what Simmons had to say about the Aggies:

It seems as though Texas A&M could land a commitment from anyone in the country if they just had enough room. With 34 commitments in the fold, recruits are still pushing and shoving to get into Kevin Sumlin’s 2013 class before the doors close.

The Aggies' high point of this recruiting cycle so far was when they landed the commitment of 5-star receiver/athlete Ricky Seals-Jones. He has superstar potential, especially in the Aggies system. Seals-Jones is the No. 1 ranked athlete in the 2013 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He checks in at 6'5'', 230 pounds and runs a 4.60 40 according to 247Sports.--End of Update 12/29/12

Quarterbacks

Kohl Stewart Via 247Sports

Targets: None

Already Committed:

Kohl Stewart- 4-star pro-style QB, 6'3", 190 lb. 4.60 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 2,535 YD, 28 TD

All-Star Game: Under Armour 1/4 5pm ET

Kenny Hill- 3-star dual-threat QB, 6'2", 210 lb. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 3,369 YD, 27 TD, 1,421 RUYD, 33 RUTD

Analysis:

There's no doubting the fact that Manziel is the quarterback of the future for Texas A&M, but that doesn't mean the Aggies should ignore recruiting the position from here on out. Having a suitable backup is extremely important, and in Stewart and Hill, the Aggies have two suitable backups.

Stewart is actually ranked as the No. 10 pro-style quarterback in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, so he has much more than just backup potential. Don't be surprised if Texas A&M gives him a redshirt to put some separation in eligibility between him and Manziel.

Running Backs

James White Via 247Sports
James White Via 247Sports

Targets: None

Already Committed:

Alex Sezer- (Signed) 3-star ATH/RB, 5'10", 180 lbs. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 1,286 YD, 17 TD

James White- 4-star RB, 6'0", 205 lbs. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 2,185 YD, 28 TD

Analysis:

Texas A&M is getting two very good running backs right now. Sezer is listed as an athlete/running back and he looks like he can be a very productive change-of-pace back who will be effective on the edges. White, on the other-hand, has good size and has the measurables of a featured back.

Both of these recruits will be important on the depth chart at first, but could become very productive players in A&M's offense.

Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

Targets:

Quincy Adeboyejo- 3-star WR, 6'3", 180 lb. 4.60 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 91 REC, 1,265 YD, 17 TD

Already Committed:

Tony Stevens- 4-star WR; 6'3'', 175 lbs. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 29 REC, 516 YD, 7 TD

Update: Tony Stevens commits to Texas A&M during the Army All-American game on 1/5.

JaQuay Williams- (Signed) 4-star PREP WR, 6'4", 204 lbs. (247Sports)

Cameron Clear - (Signed) 3-star JUCO TE, 6'6", 265 lbs. (247Sports)

Ricky Seals-Jones- 5-star WR, 6'5", 230 lbs. 4.60 40 (247Sports)

All-Star Game: U.S. Army 1/5 1pm ET

Derrick Griffin- 4-star WR, 6'7", 210 lbs. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 36 REC, 592 YD, 14 TD

All-Star Game: U.S. Army - 1 REC 16 YDS, 1 TD

Laquvionte Gonzalez- 4-star WR, 5'10", 155 lbs. 4.50 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 34 REC, 441 YD, 4 TD, 179 RUATT, 1,421 RUYD, 20 RUTD

All-Star Game: Under Armour 1/4 5pm ET

Kyrion Parker- 4-star WR, 6'3", 195 lbs. 4.60 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 46 REC, 951 YD, 13 TD

Cameron Echols-Luper- 3-star ATH/WR, 6'0", 190 lb. 4.40 40 (247Sports)

Jeremy Tabuyo- 3-star WR, 5'11", 174 lb. (247Sports)

Analysis:

With a grand total of eight wideouts and one tight end committed, does it surprise you that Texas A&M is still targeting one more receiver in Stevens? It shouldn't.

This is without a doubt the most impressive wide receiver class in the country. Seals-Jones has the ability to be a superstar, but keep an eye on Derrick Griffin as well. Griffin has the size and skill-set to be a big-time play-maker, especially in the red zone.

There's a very good chance that the Aggies will have the most prolific offense in college football in the next few years. Seals-Jones and Griffin will be two major reasons for that.

Offensive Line

Ishmael Wilson Via 247Sports
Ishmael Wilson Via 247Sports

Targets: None

Already Committed:

Jeremiah Stuckey- (Signed) 3-star JUCO OT, 6'6", 285 lbs. (247Sports)

Ishmael Wilson- 4-star OT, 6'5", 292 lbs. (247Sports)

Joas Aguilar- 3-star OG, 6'4", 290 lbs. (247Sports)

All-Star Game: Under Armour 1/4 5pm ET

J.J. Gustafson- 3-star OT, 6'5", 255 lbs. (247Sports)

Analysis:

This is a very impressive group of offensive lineman and they fit Texas A&M's scheme very well. All of these players are big enough to hold their own against aggressive and physically dominant SEC defenses, and that's what the Aggies need in offensive lineman now that they're in the SEC.

As it stands, these recruits will bring some important depth to Texas A&M's line.

Defensive Line

Justin Manning Via 247Sports
Justin Manning Via 247Sports

Targets: None

Already Committed:

Jordan Points- (Signed) 3-star strong-side DE, 6'3", 255 lb. 4.80 40 (247Sports)

Justin Manning- 4-star DT, 6'3", 275 lb. 5.00 40 (247Sports)

All-Star Game: U.S. Army 1/5 1pm ET

Isaiah Golden- 4-star DT, 6'2", 330 lb. (247Sports)

Hardreck Walker- 4-star DT, 6'2", 282 lb. (247Sports)

Jay Arnold- 3-star strong-side DE, 6'4", 240 lb. 4.70 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 23 TCK, 4 SCK, 1 FR

Analysis:

Justin Manning is the big name in this group, but overall, there's a lot to like. Manning chose Texas A&M over Oklahoma, and his decision was a very important recruiting win for the Aggies.  Manning is the No. 5 defensive tackle in the class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

You're looking at a group of big, athletic defensive lineman that have the potential to form a very dominant defensive front. Keep an eye on Isaiah Golden as well, who has tremendous size at 6'2'', 330 pounds.

Linebackers

Tommy Sanders Via 247Sports
Tommy Sanders Via 247Sports

Targets:

Isaac Savaiinaea- 4-star ILB, 6'3'', 230 lbs. 4.66 40 (247Sports)

All-Star Game: Under Armour 1/4 5pm ET

Biggest Competition for Commitment: UCLA

Already Committed:

Tommy Sanders- (Signed) 4-star JUCO OLB, 6'1", 210 lbs. (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 70 TCK, 20 TFL, 8 SCK, 1 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 INTTD

Brett Wade- (Signed) 4-star ILB, 6'1", 212 lbs. 4.70 40 (247Sports)

Reggie Chevis- (Signed) 3-star ILB, 6'1", 245 lbs. (247Sports)

Kenny Flowers- (Signed) 3-star JUCO ILB, 6'2", 225 lbs. 4.50 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 95 TCK, 6.5 TFL, 1 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 SFTY

Darian Claiborne- 3-star ILB, 6'1", 220 lbs. (247Sports)

Edward Williams- 3-star ILB, 6'2", 230 lbs. 4.60 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 91 TCK, 12 TFL, 5 SCK, 1 INT, 1 INTTD

Jordan Mastrogiovanni: 3-star ILB, 6'2'', 225 lbs. (247Sports)

Analysis:

Having good depth at the linebacker position is going to be very important for Texas A&M in the next few years. So is landing the commitment of six linebackers in total for Sumlin and his staff.

They all possess good size and speed that will allow them to be aggressive and counter the strength and speed of opposing SEC offenses.

As far as landing Savaiinaea is concerned, the Aggies are in his top two (247Sports) along with UCLA. He'd represent yet another huge recruiting win for Texas A&M. He's the No. 2 inside linebacker in the 2013 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Defensive Backs

Noel Ellis Via 247Sports
Noel Ellis Via 247Sports

Targets:

MacKensie Alexander- 5-star CB, 5'10, 180 lbs. 4.40 40 (247Sports Composite)

All-Star Game: U.S. Army 1/5 1pm ET

Biggest Competition For Commitment: Clemson, Auburn, Mississippi State

Already Committed:

Kameron Miles- 4-star S, 6'2", 195 lbs. (247Sports)

Noel Ellis- 4-star CB, 5'10", 170 lbs. 4.52 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 8 INT, 4 INTTD

All-Star Game: Under Armour 1/4 5pm ET

Tavares Garner- 3-star CB, 5'10", 170 lbs. 4.45 40 (247Sports)

2012 Stats: 39 TCK, 5 INT, 1 FR, 1 INTTD

Victor Davis- 3-star S, 6'1", 178 lb. (247Sports)

Shaan Washington- 3-star ATH/S, 6'3", 210 lbs. (247Sports)

Jonathan Wiggins- 3-star S, 6'3", 200 lbs. 4.75 40 (247Sports)

Analysis:

This is another impressive group that will bring much-needed depth to the secondary. Miles, Washington and Wiggins will end up being very important recruits in the short-term as well, considering that both safety Steven Terrel and safety Steven Campbell are seniors.

Texas A&M is on the outside looking in with Alexander (Clemson is on top of his 247Sports interest list), but considering how well the Aggies have been recruiting this year, don't count them out yet.
