US PRESSWIRE

Excuse me if I'm a little Oregon-biased in this one. It's just, I'm a fan, and the Ducks have a rather important game against Stanford this weekend.

GameDay will be there. Heck, half the Bleacher Report office will be there, too. It's the place to be, or at least the place you should be tuned into this weekend.

If you could care less about Pac-12 football and uniforms that look like an explosion at the Crayola factory, there's also plenty of other stuff out there this weekend.

NASCAR Sprint Cup: Ford EcoBoost 400

When: Sunday, 2 p.m. EST

TV: ESPN

Why You Should Watch:

After this, it's all over. No more racing—for NASCAR, at least—until February. As such, a champion will be crowned this weekend, and Brad Keselowski (pictured) is leading the way.

If you like horsepower and crashes, get your last helping now.

UFC 154

Eric Bolte-US PRESSWIRE

When: Saturday, 10 p.m. EST

TV: PPV

Why You Should Watch:

While the UFC has had plenty of unfortunate injuries lately, this is a fight that you should definitely watch.

This isn't some lame card on FUEL TV. It's not a PPV of mostly no-names or a boring Ultimate Fighter episode on FX.

Nope, we get Georges St-Pierre vs. Carlos Condit as the main event.

That's big-time stuff. Enjoy, fight fans.

NBA Action

When:  All weekend

TV: Local affiliates, NBA TV

Why You Should Watch:

I'm not going to sit here and make arguments for teams like the Sacramento Kings, as you really should never waste your time watching them. Look, I grew up there, I'm allowed to rip.

But there's plenty of good stuff this weekend, highlighted by Mike D'Antoni making his debut when the Lakers play the Rockets on Sunday evening.

If you need a break from football, the NBA is a great place to start.

NFL Sunday

As usual, FOX and CBS during the day and NBC for the night game.

Really, though, where my attention will be is Colts at Patriots (CBS, 4:25 p.m. ET). I can't get enough of Andrew Luck right now.

College Football Saturday

Everywhere and all day and night, here are the can't-miss games of the week:

  • No. 18 UCLA vs. No. 17 USC, FOX, 3:05 p.m. ET
  • No. 1 Kansas State vs. Baylor, ESPN, 8 p.m. ET
  • No. 13 Stanford vs. No. 2 Oregon, ABC, 5 p.m. ET
