Children's Miracle Network Classic 2012: Tee Times, Date and TV Schedule
Some of golf's top stars will be aiming to end the PGA season on a high note this weekend at the 2012 Children's Miracle Network Classic, the Tour's final tournament of the year.
The field of challengers, which includes Davis Love III, Stewart Cink and Rocco Mediate, among others, will attempt to conquer the Walt Disney World Resort's Magnolia and Palm courses this November and collect some of the $4.7 million purse.
Here we get you set with everything you need to know for this fall's PGA Tour finale.
Where: Magnolia Golf Club, Lake Buena Vista, FL
When: Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11

Defending Champion Out
Last year's tournament champ, Luke Donald, will not defend his crown because of a "scheduled medical procedure for one of his children," according to GolfChannel.com.
The British star shot 17-under to beat Justin Leonard by two strokes at the 2011 Children's Miracle Network Classic. He did release a statement about his decision not to defend his title (via GolfChannel.com):
My career as a golfer places many demands on my schedule, and I’m often forced to miss some precious time with my family as I travel to play around the world, but in this case, home is where I have to be.
Donald's absence means that there will be a new champion crowned this weekend. But in a field with no Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy, who wins?
I like the United States' Ryder Cup captain to win this weekend in Florida. Davis Love III has yet to claim a PGA Tour victory in 2012, but he came awfully close in his last outing at The McGladrey Classic. Love shot well under par for the first three round but lost his touch on the final day, finishing four strokes back of the winner.
It also just so happens that Love's last PGA Tour win came at this event back in 2008, when he shot 25-under to beat Tommy Gainey by one stroke.
In a field that lacks any real star power, I'll give a past tournament champion the edge. Davis Love III is due for a win on Tour, and what better time to get one than in the season finale.
