Steelers Take Alameda Ta'amu off of Suspension and More AFC North News

The Pittsburgh Steelers reinstated first-year nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu on Monday after suspending him for two weeks after he was arrested for DUI and 14 other counts after a police chase in the city of Pittsburgh earlier in October.

The Steelers were given a roster exemption, which means they do not have to make a corresponding roster move until Wednesday afternoon. Ta'amu can still be punished by the NFL, though that won't likely happen until his case reaches the courts.
