San Diego Chargers: Updated Game-by-Game Outlook for Second Half of the Season
The last time I wrote about the Bolts' remaining schedule, the Chargers had just lost to New Orleans. I said that if they lost to Denver, then things would go south in a hurry. Although I believe a substantial change is needed in San Diego, I am not eager to experience the slide that would necessitate it.
I'm off to Cleveland in a few hours to witness either the beginning or end of the Chargers we've suffered with for the last six seasons.
Week 8: @Cleveland—W. It's safe to say that if they lose this one, all the other weeks' predictions are up in the air.

Week 9: Kansas City--W. This will be a nationally televised home game, so if the Chargers come out flat there might be a riot in the stands
Week 10: @Tampa—L. They can't win them all, right? Tampa looked better in Minnesota last night than the Bolts have all year.
Week 11: @Denver—W. It's all about those divisional games. If they can't respond to their mammoth Monday Night meltdown, they're through.
Week 12: Baltimore—W. I had this penciled in as a loss originally. But the Ravens have been decimated by injury.
Week 13: Cincinnati—W. Can't have another Norv Turner-led slide, or else he's done. Wait a second...
Week 14: @Pittsburgh—L. Since we haven't beaten them in Pittsburgh since the AFC title game that I was lucky enough to see, I can't expect them to now.
Week 15: Carolina—W. This team has played so bad, it hasn't even been able to get anything out of Mike Tolbert. I thought former Chargers were supposed to shine once they left?
Week 16: @Jets—W. Another game I'll be attending. Please don't screw it up.
Week 17: Oakland—W. Can't ever pick the Raiders.
I guess I'm actually picking the Chargers to go 11-5. I know, I can't believe it either.
