I tweeted this to someone the moment after I found out that Allen Iverson would be included in NBA 2K13: "Allen Iverson >Scottie Pippen."

Considering that Iverson was the most influential baller of his era and that he was the original NBA 2K cover athlete, it's only right that he be a part of the game.

I'm a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan, and I love Pip, but controlling Iverson with the sticks is more exciting. Hopefully he has the signature hand-to-the-ear gesture while he's inspiring the Philadelphia fans.

NBA 2K released this tweet on Wednesday, along with these screenshots of Pip and Shaquille O'Neal, who will also be returning to the game.

The only man left to include to satisfy most gamers in the NBA community is Reggie Miller.

Iverson, Charles Barkley (recently announced as an inclusion) and Miller are three of the most created legends from the past amongst NBA 2K players. With this announcement, 2K has taken two of the three legends off the plate of create-a-player artists.

Of course, most of us are never satisfied. Even if Miller is announced—which I wouldn't be shocked if that were the case—many gamers will start pining for Isaiah Rider or some other player from the past that isn't included.

The roster of legends that 2K is building for NBA 2K13 is impressive—even for the most cynical and picky gamer.
