'FIFA 13' and 'Madden 13' News on Franchise Mode
EA Sports has been all over the sports video game news scene over the past three days.
They recently released new information about FIFA 13’s career mode, as well as a newly added "Skills Challenge." The latter should be yet another way to attract casual fans to the ever-popular world football title.
The video contains screenshots and analysis on the news, but you can also read about the information at FIFA 13’s blog. FIFA 13 is due to release on September 28 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
With Madden 13 releasing on August 28, the information is beginning to roll out quickly. EA has been slowly unveiling the details of the title through “playbooks,” and we’re now up to No. 5 and 6 (video link) in this series.
The most recent playbooks touch on "Connected Careers" and the options surrounding the series’ new-look franchise mode.
Check out screens and analysis on the interview that was conducted by Trey Wingo with Madden Senior Designer Josh Looman.
There are also details on Franchiseplay’s newest NBA 2K12 roster update and the beginnings of a custom-themed NCAA Football 13 roster as well.
The "Team Builder" function in NCAA 13 allows for some amazing creations, and I plan to get the most out of the engine and share my creations with the community.
There’s a "wish list" option for NBA2K13 as well, and comments are encouraged.
I didn’t neglect the highlights from the hard drive segment. There’s a collegiate feel this time but still some nice plays. Check out the video.
