Counting Down 50 Greatest Wrestlers All Time with WWE '12 & Other Games (40-31)
This is the second of the five-part video series counting down the 50 greatest wrestlers of all time. In case you missed the first part and want to be caught up, click here to see 50-41.
As expected, when the first 10 wrestlers from the countdown were revealed, there was a lot of feedback. Some good, some bad, but all productive. The previous article states the criteria considered for the rankings, but to recap, I used the five-point system:
- Appearance
TOP NEWS

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
- In-Ring Ability
- Mic Skills
- Flair/Demeanor
- Gimmick
Not every wrestler in the rankings has all five of these qualities. In fact, very few have ever had the complete complement of skills.
I recently appeared on TJ McAloon's podcast to discuss the ideology behind my rankings, and some specific wrestlers that may or may not have made the list.
It made for an interesting debate, and you can listen to that conversation here. I resisted TJ's constant attempts to get me to reveal too much of the top 50, but I believe it does shed some light on my thinking, and how I attempted to be unbiased.
As of now, who do you think should have been included but wasn't? Was someone too high, or too low for your tastes?
Obviously, Rey Mysterio will be included in this section of the countdown, but where?
Watch the video to find out where Rey lands, as well as the rest of the stars from 40-31.
