The WWE Universe has a voice. It is now time for it to be heard. With the new tag-team champions in R-Truth and Kofi Kingston looking for a name, WWE.com has issued a poll.

The choices are:

  • Air Truth
  • Ka-Boom
  • R-Boom
  • Truth in Paradise
  • Air Jimmy

I have no idea how serious WWE will take the results, but it is worth a second of your time. Click here to vote for your favorite name!

My Thoughts on This News

This is a fun way to drive traffic to the website for WWE. I highly doubt the results are tallied up. If WWE has a name in mind, they are going to use that name.

Maybe a large fanbase will help sway the decision a little? Maybe not?

Either way, Primo and Epico are no longer champions. Along with my "it" girl, Rosa Mendes, they are now a apart of All World with Abraham Washington.

You throw in Titus O'Neil and Darren Young teaming together, and you have some noise being made in the division. It still isn't much, but it works for now.

Also, WWE wants to market their new team in Kofi and Truth. Do not forget the last time Kingston won a tag strap with somebody (Evan Bourne).

Six days before the name Air Boom was revealed on Raw, guess who had it first?

Believe it. I called Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston "Air Boom" almost a week before making it official for WWE. It wasn't a good name, but it was there nonetheless.

As for this new team name, it really doesn't matter.

It is another pairing from two singles performers that WWE will hope to make a splash in the tag-team division. We have seen this scenario many, many times in the past decade.

I wish them nothing but the best.

What do you folks think? What should Kofi and Truth name themselves? Let's discuss...
