Will the Bengals Be the Same in 2009?

The One You FearCorrespondent IJanuary 15, 2009

Do you think the Cincinnati Bengals will have a bad season next year?  In my opinion I think not.

Bill "Coward" Cowher said the Bengals might be good if they play like their last three games.

The Bengals finished third in the AFC North, and beat the Browns

I am a Bengals fan, but sometimes I hate them because they make foolish mistakes that cost them games.

There are a lot of talented Bengals that are going to be free agents.

Those players include wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, running back Cedric Benson, and kicker Shayne Graham.  With those players leaving, it could really affect the Bengals offense.

Not to mention that Chad Ocho Cinco wants to get traded. Do you think it is true?

Despite the free agents, there are good things.  The Bengals didn't have a good season, and they will draft early this year, which will give them a chance at drafting a good offensive or defensive player.

Also, there are going to be talented players from college going pro like running back Chris "Beanie" Wells, quarterback Mark Sanchez, and running back Percy Harvin.

There are good defensive players available as well, like linebacker James Laurinaitis, and cornerback Malcolm Jenkins.

Also, quarterback Carson Palmer will return next year, healthy and ready to play.

I trust the Bengals, and think that the Bengals will improve, resign the players they need, and maybe make the playoffs.

In the last three games this season, the Bengals improved their defense, and I hope they stay like that in 2009.  I think that they will improve on their offense, turn everything around, and become a good team in the coming years.
