After what the Miami Dolphins have been through, they really showed their true colors on Sunday and snapped back to reality. The Dolphin offense was literally wasn’t there besides from the first drive of the first quarter and towards the end of the game.

The Raven defense was all over the place forcing Chad Pennington to throw four interceptions and having him only throw a touchdown pass to Ronnie Brown.

The Ravens rushed the seams when Miami went to the Wildcat offense and prevented it from working at all. The Dolphins turned the ball over five times in this game while only turning it over nine times this whole year.

Ed Reed had two interceptions returning one for a touchdown. Jim Leonhard and Fabian Washington also had interceptions.

Quarterback Joe Flacco became the second quarterback to win a playoff game in his playoff debut following Ben Roethlisberger in his footsteps. Flacco was 9/23 with 123 yards and a rushing touchdown that sealed the game. Le’Ron McClain had 75 yards and a touchdown and Derrick Mason had four receptions for 71 yards.

For Miami, the comeback player of the year, Chad Pennington, had 252 yards passing and a touchdown pass to Ronnie Brown to go along with four interceptions. Ronnie Brown had 12 carries for only 19 yards. Patrick Cobbs had four receptions for 55 yards.

Baltimore plays Tennessee in Nashville while Flacco tries to be the first quarterback to win his first two playoff games as a rookie.
