Jeremy Lin Video: Watch Knicks Star's Postgame Interview After Game-Winner

Jun 7, 2018

The legend of Jeremy Lin just keeps getting better with each new chapter.

If you missed it, Lin had yet another outstanding game against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night. The New York Knicks star scored 27 points and dished out 11 assists, leading the Knicks to a 90-87 win.

But you only really needed to see the final seconds. The game was tied at 87-87, and Lin had the ball in his hands. He crept up to the arc and let one fly.

And it was right on the money for a game-winning three.

Lin was as Tebow-ish as ever after the game, giving all of the credit to the Man upstairs and his teammates, and saving very little for himself. If you missed that, too, you can watch it above.

Given what we know about Lin, it's not at all surprising that he kept cool about his game-winning triple. Moreover, he made some good points about the Knicks really clamping down their defense in the fourth quarter. The Raptors had been on fire all night, but they scored just 12 points in the whole quarter, including just one in the final four minutes of the game.

Lin was absolutely correct about Iman Shumpert doing an "unbelievable" job late in the fourth quarter. The rookie guard let nothing get past him, shutting down a previously scorching Jose Calderon. Shumpert's defense is a big reason why Lin had a shot to win this game at the end.

So yes, it was a team effort. Despite what the Twitterverse may tell you, Lin didn't win this game all by himself.

The Knicks certainly couldn't have won it without him, though.

That's probably why Landry Fields decided to kiss him.
