WWE News: Evan Bourne Reportedly Spending His Suspension in Rehab

Evan Bourne has shocked the world twice in the last several months, but neither surprise was a good one.
The former WWE Tag Team Championship has been suspended twice since November for violating the WWE’s Talent Wellness Program and is currently in the midst of a 60-day suspension for his second violation.
While Bourne is reportedly missed in the WWE, no one has been totally sure of his whereabouts since his latest suspension. There is, however, some indication that he might be trying to take care of his personal problems.
From WrestleNewz.com:
During AfterBuzz.com’s post-show for Monday’s Raw SuperShow, SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia’s husband Chris Jozeph mentioned in passing that Evan Bourne is in rehab when the topic of tag team partner Kofi Kingston’s match against The Miz was brought up.
I want to be sure to mention that this was purely a passing remark made by someone who may or may not have any idea what exactly is going on with Bourne at the moment.
That being said, rehab may be exactly what Bourne needs to get back on his feet and turn both his career and life around.
While we really haven’t gotten any confirmation of why Bourne was suspended for the second time, his first suspension was believed to be for synthetic marijuana use. Therefore, some are speculating that that’s why he was suspended for the second time as well.
Even if that isn’t the case, however, it’s important that Bourne take care of any personal issues or substance abuse problems that he may have while he’s away from the ring for a while.
Everyone makes mistakes and even though I’ve been critical of Bourne, he deserves one last shot in the WWE if he’s really trying to work out whatever issues he may have.
While Bourne is certainly not irreplaceable and many fans don’t see what appeal he may have, he definitely has a place in the WWE and could help out the tag team and mid-card divisions in a big way.
Get better, Evan. I’ll be pulling for you.
