Peyton Manning Dolphins Rumors: Why Miami is a Perfect Fit for Veteran QB
While Peyton Manning’s time in Indianapolis may be coming to an end, the Colts star quarterback may be heading to a new team.
The Miami Dolphins, to be exact.
Of all the teams rumored to be in the hunt for Manning if and when he gets released, the Miami Dolphins have the kinds of tools that could give Manning the hope that he could win.

As much as the idea of playing Tom Brady twice a year is not something the oldest Manning wants to do, the Dolphins offense may be the exact recipe for what the veteran quarterback needs.
NFL insider Chris Perkins is reporting on CBS Sports about the Dolphins possible interest in the Colts star:
"The Dolphins are interested in pursuing Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning and Green Bay’s Matt Flynn as free agents, local reports say. Due to NFL tampering rules, Dolphins officials can’t speak publicly about either player because both are still under contract. Those same reports say Miami is considering trading up for Baylor QB Robert Griffin III.
"
While many teams will be considered if Manning does hit the open market, the star needs to look no further than Miami. He will be yet another star to take his talents to the beautiful weather of South Beach.
As nice as the beaches are, it will be the weapons that Manning has with the Dolphins that will sway him. Besides the running game featuring Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas that showed the NFL they are a tandem not to be taken lightly, Manning would also have ball hawk Brandon Marshall.
Add in stellar tight end Anthony Fasano to a solid offensive line that they can help replenish with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, and you have the perfect situation for a veteran quarterback to walk into.
As much as the defense needs an overhaul, the Dolphins coaches could turn the playbook over to Manning while they are fixing the defensive side of the ball.
With Manning under center for Miami, they would win at least 10 games and make the playoffs.
