WWE Royal Rumble 2012: Could the Miz Win the Royal Rumble from the No. 1 Draw?

While Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit won from the No. 1 draw in past Royal Rumble matches, the Miz will have a large hill to climb tomorrow night to match their legendary feats in the history of the Rumble.

In the Miz’s first four appearances in the Royal Rumble, the longest amount of time in the match was 13 minutes and seven seconds in the 2008 Rumble while his other entries lasted one minute and 17 seconds in 2009, 17 seconds in 2010 and a minuscule seven seconds in 2007.

Without a doubt, the 13-plus minutes the Miz spent in the ring during the 2008 Rumble will surely be topped, if not more than doubled, as he tries to make his second straight trip to the main event of WrestleMania in April.

As tomorrow marks his fifth Royal Rumble match of his career, the former WWE Champion will shock those in attendance in St Louis as Miz will make a major impact in the match.

With an all-star lineup of WWE superstars to be involved in the Royal Rumble Sunday night, I predict the Miz will be one of the final entrants in the later moments of the match as he will have to contend with the likes of Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett with a WrestleMania title shot on the line.

Do I believe Miz could be the ultimate dark horse and actually win the 2012 Royal Rumble? I will save that kind of bold prediction for one of my other colleagues here at Bleacher Report.
