Royal Rumble 2012 Predictions: Daniel Bryan Will Complete Heel Turn in Victory
Daniel Bryan's brief run as a World Heavyweight Champion face failed miserably. So a quick heel turn was necessary and should be fully completed by the end of his Royal Rumble match with Big Show and Mark Henry.
The WWE Universe has been pushing for Bryan to get a chance on the main-event stage for quite some time. He didn't live up to the hype, however, which has forced the company to reverse course, and it has worked out well so far.
Instead of pulling the plug on Bryan's title reign right away, which has seemingly been done with Zack Ryder, the WWE made a good decision by having him change his character instead.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
He's already received more emotion out of the crowd in a couple weeks while making the transition, than he did during his entire time as a face. Sure, the fringe audience that love the pure wrestling aspect of things always supported him, but the mainstream fans need more to get excited about.
By pitting him against two of the biggest superstars on the roster, he's being set up perfectly to flip the traditional script.
Normally the two monsters would bully the little guy around, but look for Bryan to do a lot of talking during the match, acting as the bully himself—similar to what he did after the Big Show incident with A.J. Lee on SmackDown a couple weeks ago.
Since Henry's run is coming to an end after months of dominance on the blue brand, and Big Show is simply keeping the main-event seat warm until Randy Orton returns, there's no reason for Bryan to drop the belt on Sunday.
So look for him to win following some type of crazy finish. Whether it's a stuck cage door that allows him to escape over the top, or using the LeBell Lock to get Henry to tap out just before Big Show escapes, it won't be a clean finish.
Stealing victory from the jaws of defeat will be the final piece to his heel puzzle, and should get him huge heat from a pay-per-view crowd.
In other words, mission accomplished.
