WWE News: Rumored Card for WrestleMania 28 Revealed
The Royal Rumble hasn’t even taken place yet, but it’s never too early to look ahead to WrestleMania 28.
It’s the WWE’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, and if it ends up being anything like we expect it to be, then it should be one fantastic show.
That, of course, depends on the pay-per-view’s card, and we have the latest rumored one right here.

"Based on early talk, here’s what looks to be the tentative card for WrestleMania 28 so far:
The Rock vs. John Cena
WWE Title Match CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
Triple H vs. The Undertaker
Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal
World Heavyweight Title Match
Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Divas Match
"
This card indeed appears to be tentative, because WrestleZone.com recently released its own report, which indicated that we could see Triple H vs. CM Punk and Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho instead of the above matches.
I’m honestly fine with any combination of Punk, Triple H, Undertaker and Jericho, as long as it makes sense booking-wise.
Given that Triple H is returning on Monday’s Raw to come face-to-face with John Laurinaitis, though, I wouldn’t be surprised if that leads to Punk vs. Triple H, with Laurinaitis somehow involved.
As for the rest of the card, we aren’t really getting much news here that we haven’t already seen before.
Big Show vs. Shaq and the returning Money in the Bank ladder match have all been rumored for WrestleMania 28 for months now, while Cena vs. The Rock has been confirmed for nearly a year.
I just hope the WWE sticks with the reported Shaq/Show and MITB matches, because MITB has the potential to be a great show-opener, and Show taking on Shaq should be pretty interesting and one of the better celebrity vs. wrestler matches that we’ve ever seen.
We do have to keep in mind that all these matches are indeed tentative, though, and that there’s probably a decent chance that plans will change a number of times between now and WrestleMania.
We’re just two days away from the Royal Rumble, so we should have a much clearer picture of what’s in store once the pay-per-view concludes on Sunday.
