Chad Ochocinco Shouldn't Be Surprised by Tom Brady's Playoff Intensity
Apparently, Chad Ochocinco is surprised by Tom Brady's playoff intensity.
This maybe says more about Ochocinco and where he's come from than it does about Brady, though.
Brady has won three Super Bowls. He is known as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history. Of course he's going to be intense. You don't become an NFL legend after getting drafted in the sixth round due to your incredible physical prowess, that's for sure.

Brady is right up there with Drew Brees, Payton Manning and Aaron Rodgers when it comes to meticulous preparation and outstanding leadership. The biggest difference between Brady and the rest was the road he had to take to get there.
NFL Network recently aired a special called The Brady 6 in which they documented the six quarterbacks taken before Brady. You really get a feel for the competitive fire that burns inside the man in this documentary, and that fire is the reason for his success.
Ochocinco, on the other hand, has largely relied on his physical prowess and abilities, and he never had to earn a spot on a roster like Brady did. He was a high second-round pick and quickly became a starter on a bad team.
He never learned what kind of preparation and determination really goes in to making a championship team. He was with the Bengals, for crying out loud.
Apparently, Ochocinco isn't used to a constant drive for perfection:
"Every ... single ... day. That's what it's like around here. Everybody is pushing for perfection and they're pushing hard. I've never seen anything like it in my whole career. You understand why this team is where it is. ... Tom is on you about the littlest things, that you were a step off where you should be or the angle is wrong or whatever it is. Really, he has me walking on eggshells and I haven't done that since I was a rookie.
"
Honestly, what he's describing here is exactly what I would expect from Brady. I would be disappointed if he was doing any less. In fact, I can't believe that any leader in the NFL wouldn't do the same. I guess I was wrong.
The upcoming game in Boston against the mighty Tebows will be intense, and you can bet both quarterbacks will be ready to lay it all on the line. Get ready, Chad.
