If you are a Houston Texans fan, stop me if you heard this before. After what appears to be a shoulder injury, starting quarterback T.J. Yates has left the game injured.
I don’t know what the Texans did to have such bad luck, but injuries to Matt Schaub, Matt Leinart and now T.J. Yates must have fans and management alike pulling their hair out.

There is now word out of Houston Insiders that T.J. Yates may have suffered a separated should (non-throwing arm). While the reports are strong, some have questioned the severity because of Yates demeanor on the sidelines.
No matter what is wrong, it’s time to panic in Houston if you weren’t already. Even if you are the most optimistic fan in the world, watching three starters go down and Jake Delhomme go in has to make you sad.

The nightmare season at the quarterback position in Houston is not over yet, with starter T.J. Yates being ruled out for the rest of the final regular season game.
The Fantasy Greek is reporting on why Yates is still on the sidelines:
If I was anyone affiliated with the Houston Texans organization, I would be terrified of the fact that the man under center right now is a gun shy, shell of the Jake Delhomme that was fantastic in Carolina.
What They're Saying
Pro Football Weekly is reporting on Twitter:
ESPN personality Trey Wingo echoes the sentiments of Texans fans all over the world:
Who's the Backup?
For all those Texans fans that are in favor of the nostalgia aspect of the NFL, we have a blast from the past for you with Jake Delhomme.
You might remember when he was relevant with the Carolina Panthers all those years ago. Since then, the wheels have completely fallen off and he is now in control of a playoff team. Good for Delhomme, bad for Houston.
Devastation Scale (12 out of 10)
When Matt Schaub went down, the scale was at 10. Matt Leinart’s injury pushed it to 11. T.J. Yates is maxing this scale out after being the third starting QB injured this season.
While Jake Delhomme used to be a solid quarterback, he hasn’t played at a high level in a long time and his chances of helping the Texans in the playoffs are very slim.
