It’s official.
Brett Favre is the most over-hyped, over-rated, and over-publicized player to ever plague the NFL.
All I can say is: "How?" and "WHY!?!?!"
Sure, he has won a Super Bowl, but so have Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, and Eli Manning. So spare me the whole "he is a Super Bowl Champion argument."
Yeah, he has set numerous records in the NFL, but not all of these records are good. Take the interception record as an example of that.
If I had been playing in the NFL since the reign of Julius Caesar, I would probably hold tons of records, too. So once again, spare me the stupid arguments about his past accomplishments and his records.
Once you take all this crap away, what do you have?
An over-rated piece of junk that sabotaged the Jets chances of making the playoffs.
Yet, I still look at this site and see his disciples praising his glory.
Well the buck stops here.
Let’s really break down who Brett Favre is.
This season alone, he led the league in picks, and considering that he also lost a few fumbles, that means that he had more turnovers than touchdowns. So pardon me if I hold him responsible for the Jets losing the majority of their seven losses.
He is also a guy, who according to the other players, behaved distantly and isolated himself in the locker room. Also, his teammates added that he was hardly a positive influence on or off the field, as player or person.
Now, normally I wouldn't easily believe such slander, but after he refused to shake hands with his predecessor after his dismal game against the Dolphins, I find this information much more credible.
