My Bleacher Report Story So Far: The Journey To 500!

I've been associated with Bleacher Report for over a year but 2008 was just brilliant both for me and for B/R as the network has risen to height of becoming the global debate it is today.

I've completed 500 articles for Bleacher Report and I'm thinking "Wow, 500? How'd I get here?"

In truth, I would have never got here without the tremendous support that I've gotten.

The journey to 500 made me Co-Community Leader of the World Football Community alongside Andrew McNair (Andrew, you've been a real friend) and the Co-Community Leader of the Manchester United Community alongside Jeff Harbert (Jeff, we hope you will return some day!)

Have the roots of journalism before being part of the B/R Family, I can safely say I've enjoyed the experience of reading contributions of other writers who I greatly admire like Andrew Kneeland, Shyam, Gerry, Alby, Jeff, Simon Martin, Simon Williams, Sarah, Zahi Sahli, Mark Andrew, Warren, Marc, Alan M, Khalid, Brad, Maire, John Houmes, Alex Dimond, Salomon, Barney, S, Carly, Micheal Griffin, Yoosof Farah, Sean Crowe, Alan Bass, Gray Ghost, and Lisa Horne amongst many others.

How about the editors, eh?

Here's a list of my favourite editors on B/R: Dakota Rubin, Justin S., Sergei M., Stacey Rice, Claire B., Gracie L., Jeff Gorman, Emily Fowler, Alex Dimond, Dusan S. and many more.

Recruiting writers from Bleacher Report was also a hugely enjoyable experience.

As I joined Bleacher Report, Alex (Zander), RA (Ryan Alberti), Bryan G., Dave N., and Dave F. were quite supportive and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them.

I sincerely hope that I've managed to thank everybody but If I missed out someone, it just slipped my mind, sorry!

I've had the honor of being twice voted B/R World Football Community's Most Consistent Writer of the Month and also nominated for the Best Writer of the Year Award, as well as first in the Bleacher Report Rankings for around two months and currently second only to B/R's very own Lisa Horne.

500 articles, three B/R Pick of the Day articles, 184 Pick of the Day votes received, 103 fans, 3896 comments received, and 808,414 article reads: My Bleacher Report Story So Far!

Well done mate, fantastic amount of articles to reach, and while I was in the football community, it was an honour to serve with you mate, keep the articles coming.

Over 800,000 reads! Jesus, I've just got to 150,000 and I thought that was amazing. Plus, you're a Man Utd supporter, so you are just brilliant haha!

Well done again mate, how long before you get to 750??
