Touthouse HandicappersSenior Writer IDecember 30, 2008

In a much anticipated shootout, the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oregon Ducks will battle in the 2008 Holiday Bowl. Oklahoma State is ready to make its sixth bowl game appearance in the last seven years, and the team has a 12-6 record all-time in their bowl games. The 67 percent winning percentage in bowl games is the best among all Big 12 conference teams.

The Oregon Ducks are making their fourth consecutive bowl game appearance and 12th bowl trip in 14 years under coach Mike Bellotti. They are playing in the Holiday Bowl for the third time in 10 years, as they beat Texas in 2000 before losing the game to Oklahoma in 2005.

5dimes.com oddsmakers currently have the Oklahoma State Cowboys set as three-point betting odds favorites against the Oregon Ducks in this year's Holiday Bowl, with the game's over/under posted at 76 total points.
