The San Diego Chargers defeated Buffalo Bills by a score of 37-10 to better their record to 6-7 on the season.

Philip Rivers followed up his fantastic performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars with another great game.

Rivers completed 24 of 33 passes for 240 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Antonio Gates was Rivers' primary target throughout the game. Gates finished with seven catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chargers received a great performance from Ryan Mathews on the ground. Mathews ran for 114 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries.

The only good performance by a Bills player was from Stevie Johnson. Johnson hauled in four catches for 116 yards.

The Chargers still have a chance to make playoffs if they win out and the Broncos lose the rest of their games.

The Bills are now eliminated from playoff contention.

Final score: Chargers 37, Bills 10
