In just a few short hours, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will air live on pay-per-view television from the sold out Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. PT and 9:00 p.m. ET.

In the main event of the evening, the youngest champion in UFC history, Jon "Bones" Jones, will look to successfully defend his title against one of the hardest hitting light heavyweights, Lyoto Machida.

And while Machida may be one of the hardest hitters in the 205-pound weight division, he's certainly not the only one. The light heavyweight division is filled with some of the UFC's hardest hitters.

So, the following slides display the the five hardest-hitting light heavyweights in the UFC today.

Let's take a look.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson

We've heard the famous line, "down he goes, down he goes" many times over the course of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's career.

Despite not hearing it as of late, Jackson remains not only one of the hardest hitters in the 205-pound weight class, but the entire UFC.

When Jackson enters the Octagon, just one swing can lead him to way of victory.

Lyoto Machida

Lyoto Machida is one of the most underrated strikers in the 205-pound weight class, as his power in his punching goes unnoticed the majority of the time.

Because of his exceptional karate-type skill set, many fans look past Machida as a stand-up striker.

But, Machida displayed just how powerful his punches truly are in his knockout victory over Rashad Evans at UFC 98.

Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson displayed to the world just how hard he can hit in his historical showdown with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 139.

However, Henderson's displayed some of the best striking skills since entering the sport of mixed martial arts, as he's combined for 13 career knockout victories.

"Hendo" has the capability of dropping his opponent, similar to what he did against Michael Bisping at UFC 100.

Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua

It seems like Mauricio "Shogun" Rua has been fighting in the sport of mixed martial arts for as long as most of us can remember. However, one thing hasn't changed; Rua has always been one of the most vicious strikers in whatever organization he has fought in.

In fact, nearly every time Rua is declared victorious, it's by way of knockout. He's totaled 17 career KO's in just 20 wins.

Rashad Evans

Due to his well-rounded skill set, a lot of times, Rashad Evans as a striker goes unnoticed.

But Evans remains one of the hardest-hitting light heavyweights in the UFC today, as he's totaled six knockouts up until this point of his career.

While Evans certainly isn't the hardest hitter, he's worthy of a top five position.
