World Wrestling Entertainment fans have been complaining to the company for some time now about their storylines. These story lines constantly revolve around John Cena, Randy Orton, Kelly Kelly, CM Punk and others.
What the WWE is forgetting is that they have a large amount of talent that is hidden from their viewers. I believe that the main reason for this is the concentration that the WWE has on their favorite superstars and divas.
With the developmental organization known as FCW, the WWE has plenty of young men and women that have not had a big league chance. The list of those forgotten talent is an extensive one. Some of the superstars have actually been there awhile and have a seat backstage. These men and women include: Tyler Reks, Ted Dibiase Jr., Curt Hawkins, AJ, Tamina, Maxine, Rosa Mendes, John Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson, Titus O’Neil, Derrick Bateman, Zack Ryder, Drew Mcintyre, Maryse and Trent Barretta. They all deserve title chances that would lead to some interesting matchups.
In early 2010, the WWE introduced a brand new show called NXT, where rookies would compete for a WWE contract and a title match. The superstars that have won this competition have all been involved to some capacity. Now they seem to be forgotten in the minds of the WWE corporate and creative teams.
NXT winners Wade Barrett, Kaval (released after one title shot), Kaitlyn, Brodus Clay and Johnny Curtis currently do not have anything to do with a storyline. Other participants on NXT were hired and released but some were kept on the roster and are not able to compete thanks to the writers.
The superstars I speak of are Heath Slater, David Otunga, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Michael McGillicutty and Alex Riley. They are all being cheated out of opportunities especially those that fought hard to win NXT.
The WWE says they are all for what the fans want. Many fans are addressing the WWE about this issue yet they ignore us. What is going on?
