While some teams will be reveling in BCS glory in Week 15, several will be weeping with thoughts of what could have been.

These three teams had an opportunity to clinch a berth in one of college football's premier bowl games. Unfortunately, they choked it away.

No. 7 Houston Cougars

The Cougars' undefeated season and BCS dreams were dashed after they got spanked 49-28 by No. 24 Southern Miss.

Houston was the highest scoring team in the nation, and quarterback Case Keenum put up some ridiculous passing numbers this season.

However, none of that matters now.

With their weak schedule, the Cougars needed to finish 13-0 to appear in a BCS game.

They'll still play in a high-profile bowl game, but the BCS won't come calling this year.

No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners

After starting the season as the top-ranked team in the nation, the Sooners sputtered down the stretch.

They lost two of their last three games, including Saturday's 44-10 beat down at the hands of Oklahoma State.

The Big 12 will definitely put two teams in the BCS this season.

Unfortunately for Oklahoma, their third loss of the season means they will get hopped by Kansas State.

No. 13 Michigan State Spartans

With their controversial 42-39 loss to Wisconsin, the Spartans effectively dropped out of the BCS race.

I was impressed with Michigan State this season, but they have three losses and just two wins over ranked opponents.

Their resume is decent, but there are more deserving teams right now.

Don't expect to see Sparty in the BCS this season.
