Booker T has an amazing career thus far. Not only is he a former world champion, but he is also back in the WWE.

However, I feel the WWE is not using his star power to it's full potential.

Today, I am going to list seven roles Booker T is more suitable in on SmackDown. This list is based on current WWE storylines.

General Manager

SmackDown's current general manager, Theodore Long, has been a stale authority figure. It is time to shake things up!

Adding Booker T in a position of power would breathe new life for the blue brand.

Just look at his run as King Booker—he is a natural leader!

Backstage Interviewer

Turning Booker T into a backstage interviewer would do two things.

First, it would add more excitement in the promos made throughout the night. Second, it takes Booker T off the announce team.

I will be the first to admit that Booker T has improved a lot since he came back earlier this year. However, the announce table is no place for this future Hall of Fame member.

Turn Heel

The WWE is lacking credible heels. Besides Mark Henry (and possibly Wade Barrett), there is no real threat to any of the main event faces on SmackDown.

Even if Booker T did not compete, turning heel would add diversity to the WWE product and maybe it could become a storyline.

Manager

What better way to help younger stars then to mentor them?

As a manager, fans can still see him on SmackDown every week. As a bonus, you also get a brand new Superstar that fans respect and connect with.

Stable Leader

WWE has a tendency to put older wrestlers in a match against each other (HHH vs. Nash?) even if the storyline isn't all that good.

WWE needs to stop this habit. Many people believed that Nash would join Awesome Truth and create a new nWo.

Booker needs to create a stable where all the Superstars develop and become a major force on SmackDown.

Full-Time Superstar

If you haven't noticed, WWE is lacking the star power that it had five years ago. With big names continuing to leave and younger stars still not creating an impact, the WWE product has suffered severely.

Bringing Booker T back full-time would give WWE the star power it needs while it creates future stars such as CM Punk, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz.

Part-Time Superstar

This option seems the most likely.

After watching SmackDown, it is clear that Booker T is going to be feuding with Cody Rhodes over the IC title.

This option does a couple things.

First, it brings Booker T back for his final run. Second, it elevates Cody Rhodes closer to the main event on SmackDown.

Veterans need to elevate the younger stars. Enough said.
