Tonight in Orlando the Florida Gators will host the Stetson Hatters. Florida comes into the game on a three game winning streak and 4-1 overall. Stetson is coming off a lost to Charleston Southern. The Hatters from the Atlantic Sun are 3-2 on the young season.

Stetson is lead by Junior Adam Pegg. Pegg is averaging 12.6 points a game. Sophomore's Aaron Graham and Chris Perez are also averaging in double figure for the Hatters. Stetson is right in the middle at 164th in the country in scoring.

Florida is the third highest scoring team in the country. At 89.8 points a game Florida trails only Iona(94.3) and North Carolina Central(91.7) in scoring. The Gators are lead by Junior Kenny Boynton.

Boynton is averaging 19.6 points per game he is one of six Gators averaging in double figures. Scoring is not the only thing the Gators do good. Florida ranks ninth in the nation in rebounds at 42.6 a game. At .494 percent Florida is the 26th best shooting team in the country.

This will be Florida's last tune up before traveling to play the No. 3 ranked team in the country Syracuse Orange. Coach Billy Donovan will use every player in this game making sure everybody is loose and no injures happpen. Their is always a chance a team looks ahead but coach Donovan will not let that happen.

Freshman Brad Beal has been a great surprise for the Gators. Brad comes into this game second on the team in scoring at 16.0 ppg and second in rebounding with 5.8. Beal has proven he can play in big games with 17 against Ohio State. The question is can he keep his play going for over 30-plus games.

Stetson does not match up well with the Gators. The Hatters will need to control the paint to have any shot of ending their 16-game losing streak to Florida.

The Gators are without Erik Murphy tonight again so look for Will Yequete to get some good playing time. Yequete scored eight points and had nine rebounds in his last game playing for the hurt Murphy.

Coach Donovan is going for win No. 400 tonight.
