I know it sounds weird to suggest picking up a player on the Cleveland Browns offense, but it’s hard to deny the emergence of Joshua Cribbs.

He made a name for himself as a kick returner, but has gradually been more involved in the offense this season. His 350 yards and four touchdowns aren't going to win the trophy in your league, but it’s hard to ignore that he has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games with the Browns, registering a grand total of four over that period of time.

The conservative Browns offense is certainly not a big help for Cribbs, but the attention he gets around the red zone is extremely appealing. Imagine his numbers with a competent QB.

If you are in need of an extra receiver, there are far worse options than Cribbs.

Also consider picking up the following talented sleepers on the rise:

Donald Brown, RB, Indianapolis Colts

This is strictly a one-week play.

Brown has been the leader in carries for the Colts in the last three games and has registered 156 yards. Nothing spectacular, but he is getting the bulk of touches in the offense and that’s never a bad thing in fantasy.

The other big reason to start Brown in Week 12 is the Colts opponent. The Carolina Panthers' run defense is ranked 30th in the NFL, allowing over 140 per game, and is on the road where they are currently winless. Last week they let Kevin Smith, who was signed off the street less than a month ago, run them ragged.

Brown is a great one-week play.

C.J. Spiller, RB, Buffalo Bills

With Fred Jackson out for the season, it’s time for the second-year back to show the Bills what he’s got. Consider the next six games to be an audition for the future of Spiller in Buffalo.

He only has 197 total yards, but that was because of a lack of reps more than anything else.

He has breakaway speed and incredible quickness with the ability to cut on a dime. The talent is there, now is his chance to use it.
