B.J. Raji Video: Watch Packers DT Celebrate After Huge TD Run

Nicholas GossNov 20, 2011

Green Bay Packers defensive tackle BJ. Raji did his best William "The Refrigerator" Perry imitation on Sunday when he took a hand off from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and powered all 337 pounds of himself into the end zone for a one-yard touchdown.

Not only did he score the touchdown, he gave us a little dance too, proving that the young star certainly has the moves.

His touchdown was similar to Perry's rushing touchdown for the 1985 Chicago Bears in their dominating Super Bowl XX win against the New England Patriots. Perry was also a defensive tackle.

It was probably a good idea that Raji decided to dance and not run to the crowd and perform the "Lambeau Leap" into the stands.

First of all, he would not have made it, and secondly, we do not want any people or kids to get hurt.

Having someone running at you with that kind of power simply isn't fair to Tampa Bay. There was literally nothing they could do to stop it.

I wonder why more teams do not do this more often? How is a defense supposed to stop someone as large as that?

Whether you need a yard on a fourth-down play at midfield or a few inches for a touchdown, using massive defensive tackles like Raji or the Patriots' Vince Wilfork seems like a great idea.

Tampa's only hope was to pray that Raji was the lead blocker on the play and not the ball carrier.

There was a question of whether he got into the end zone or not, but after the pile of players was cleared, it was ruled a touchdown.
