What else can be said—how often do you get a chance to watch a player that is, without a doubt, the best at what he does? Devin Hester is that to kick returning. He has struck again, and this time, his victim is the Detroit Lions.

This one is going to very memorable. He bobbled the ball, turned and circled, and then made a beeline up the sidelines.

He had threatened to go the distance on a previous punt but was nabbed by punter Ryan Donahue. This time however, Donahue could only reach out and grasp for air like the rest of the Lions.

As of this writing, the Bears have exploded all over the Lions early, taking advantage of turnovers to a big third quarter lead.

The NFC is on notice right now: the Bears are going to be heard from come playoff time. If they hold on to win this game against the division rival Lions, they will be on a four=game win streak.

The Bears could be 6-3 and tied with the Lions for second place in the division; that is somewhere almost no one thought you'd see Chicago after all the offensive line problems they had early on.

Hester has been playing far more special teams than receiver, which is best for him and the team. Forte has been MVP-like, and Jay Cutler has his favorite and best receiver back in Earl Bennett.
