WWE: 9 Superstars and 9 Ways They Can Make an Impact
Every superstar in the WWE aspires to be a legend someday.
For 300 days a year, these stars travel across the globe to make a name for themselves. Some of their stars get brighter, while other fade away.
Today, I am going to list nine superstars and a way for each of them to make a lasting impact on the WWE Universe.
*This list does not include every star that needs to make an impact.
Zack Ryder has done what few men could. He went from a WWE afterthought, to Internet sensation, to a WWE Superstar, to a U.S. Title Contender.
On the Nov. 7 episode of RAW, we got to see Zack Ryder compete in the main event with John Cena against Awesome Truth. Although they did not win the match, it was a huge milestone for 'Long Island Iced Z.'
Fans have finally realized Zack Ryder's potential and have gotten behind him. When the WWE Universe wants something, they get it.
What the WWE Universe wants is for Zack Ryder to be the next United States Champion. Zack Ryder deserves a real singles title, and he will get one soon enough.
How to make an impact: Win the United States Championship
When Wade Barrett brought the Nexus to the WWE, people knew that he was going to be a big deal.
For the majority of 2010, Wade Barrett and the Nexus caused havoc throughout the entire WWE.
Soon enough, Wade Barrett had his own WWE Championship match against Randy Orton. Sadly though, it wasn't meant to be.
Wade Barrett lost against both John Cena and Randy Orton, was kicked out of Nexus and was shipped to Smackdown.
When he arrived on Smackdown, he bounced back by joining The Corre. What could have been a great stable turned into nothing more then a way for him to get air time.
After The Corre split, Wade Barrett slowly got lost in the shuffle.
That all changed a couple weeks ago when the WWE breathed new life into Wade Barrett's character.
He in now the leader of a traditional Survivor Series match against Team Orton.
It is crucial that Barrett wins this match. After that, he can move his way up into the main event again.
How to make an impact: Win his match at Survivor Series against Team Orton
Cody Rhodes has always been considered an underdog.
Ted DiBiase was supposed to be the future star once Legacy was split, but instead, Rhodes managed to do just fine for himself.
After some impressive feuds against Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan and Big Zeke, he was finally placed in a feud with former Legacy leader Randy Orton.
What looked to be Cody Rhodes' entrance to the main event scene was soon crushed as Randy Orton defeated Rhodes at Vengeance.
Cody Rhodes should have came out on top then, but he can still make a lasting impression. Cody Rhodes is on Team Barrett against Team Orton at this year's Survivor Series.
Cody needs to continue his feud with Orton.
How to make an impact: Survive the tag match with Wade Barrett and continue feud with Orton
Dolph Ziggler has been on the verge of the main event for several months now. He is the current United States Champion and has retained in every title defense. There is an issue though.
The longer Dolph Ziggler stays the United States Champion, the longer it will be until he is put in a main event feud.
For him to get further in the WWE, he needs to drop the U.S. Title, and get into the main event.
How to make an impact: Drop the U.S. Title and bounce back to the main event
For nearly three months, John Morrison was on an incredible losing streak.
He jobbed to every person he wrestled, including Christian, Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes.
Many believe (and continue to believe) that Morrison is on his way out of the company.
This past week however, his character showed new life as he defeated Dolph Ziggler by a roll-up win on RAW.
If he does re-sign with the WWE, his star can get bright again.
For him to make an impact, he needs to address the losing streak and gun it to the main event. He can not stay in the mid-card anymore.
How to make an impact: Give fans a promo, gun it to the main event
Alberto Del Rio
Yes, Alberto Del Rio fulfilled his destiny. He came to the WWE with the goal of being WWE Champion.
On his quest to the top, he won the Royal Rumble and became Mr. Money in the Bank.
At Summerslam, he cashed it in on CM Punk to become WWE Champion.
After losing it to John Cena, he reclaimed it at Hell in a Cell.
Now, he is in a feud with CM Punk. In this feud, Alberto Del Rio has acted cowardly and weak against CM Punk.
For Alberto Del Rio, he needs to tweak his gimmick and attitude to become a more credible threat to CM Punk.
How to make an impact: Fix promos, get more aggressive and RETAIN AT SURVIVOR SERIES
Sheamus is a two-time WWE Champion, the King of the Ring and a former United States Champion.
Needless to say, there is still a lot of work to be done.
After a perfectly executed face turn, Sheamus is now the No. 2 face on Smackdown.
The only direction Sheamus is going is up, but for the sake of it, I am going to give the WWE a few stepping stones they can use.
First, Sheamus needs to enter a new feud. Second, he needs to get back into the World Heavyweight title picture. Lastly, he needs to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Mark Henry.
How to make an impact: New Feud, Title Picture, WHC Title reign
These two men have both had roller-coaster careers. Every time I see them, it feels like they are taking two steps forward and one step backward.
Come on already!
These two men are the future of the business. They shouldn't be taking steps anymore, they should be sprinting!
They have a match against John Cena and The Rock at Survivor Series.
As of now, they have been booked fairly poorly on RAW. They need to step it up and Survivor Series and defeat The Rock and Cena.
How to make an impact: Clean house at Survivor Series
Ah, yes. I conclude the list with Kofi Kingston.
Back in 2009, this man had a promising future. Sadly though, it wasn't meant to be.
After "messing up" the RKO, Orton used his backstage power to make sure Kofi would never reach the main event.
I am a huge fan of Kofi Kingston and he has accomplished everything a mid-carder can ask for.
That is not good enough. Kofi deserves a huge win. I really hope WWE doesn't make him job because of Evan Bourne's mistakes.
How to make an impact: Win the Royal Rumble or Money in the Bank
