Information

Where: Bobby Dodd Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia

When: Thursday, November 10, 8:00 p.m. ET

Watch: ESPN and ESPN 3

Betting Line: Over/Under-49, Spread- Georgia Tech +1 (courtesy of covers.com)

For the over/under, I feel that 49 is too low for this matchup, and I would go over just on the fact that both teams can put up big points. While both teams have solid defenses, especially Virginia Tech, they will score over 49 points. Virginia Tech will win by more than one, so take them all the way.

BCS/Top 25 Implications

With both teams ranked in the BCS top 25, they implications of this game a very obvious. If Virginia Tech knocks the Yellow Jackets off, they assert their dominance and can win out with their easy schedule. If Georgia Tech can shock the Hokies with a beat down, they would put their bid in as a serious BCS contender.

Key Matchup

The key matchup will be the sixth ranked Virginia Tech Hokies defense that is giving up just 15.4 points per game this season, and the nation's second best statistical run game made up of QB Tevin Washington and RB David Sims.

If Virginia Tech can force the Yellow Jackets to beat them through the air, they will have the upper hand and their offense will take the ball and run with it.

Prediction: Virginia Tech 33, Georgia Tech 31
