ESPN's Jenn Brown Tweets Away the Time While Locked in Hotel Bathroom

Eric BallNov 2, 2011

Ever been locked in a bathroom before?

ESPN sideline reporter Jenn Brown has.

Brown treated her Twitter followers to quite the comedic event on Wednesday when she realized that the door handle in her hotel bathroom wasn’t budging:

Wait, how is she able to call the front desk from the bathroom? Aren’t those phones next to the bed? Brown has a simple solution:

So she called the front desk, and got somebody to come open the door. No big deal right? Not so fast:

So life in a hotel room isn’t so easy after all. Imagining the 21-year-old bell hop trying to break down a bolted door has got to be one of the funnier images of the day.

As Brown waits for help, she has some time on her hands to answer some real hard-hitting questions:

Eventually the hotel was able to open her door without breaking it down and freeing her from the horrors of the bathroom.

So what have you learned today from Ms. Brown?

Never close your hotel bathroom door all the way, unless you want to take a really hot shower.

Have your phone with you at all times, even when in the bathroom because you never know when it’s going to come in handy. Get the flavored vitamins so you can get a little flavor in your taste buds while you stave off extreme hunger.

And most importantly, make sure your hotel has a fully functioning door handle that doesn’t look like this.
