After the BCS standings were shaken following notable upsets and last-second heartbreaking wins last week, the landscape of college football was rocked again with losses by top 10 teams Clemson and Kansas State.
Here are tonight's BCS Top 25 teams for Week 10 of the college football season, as released on ESPN.
25. Southern Miss
24.West Virginia
23. Georgia Tech
22. Auburn
21. Texas
20. Wisconsin
19. Arizona State
18. Georgia
17. Michigan State
16.Penn State
15. Michigan
14. Kansas State
13. Houston
12, Virginia Tech
11. Clemson
10. Nebraska
9. South Carolina
8. Oregon (slipped two spots)
7. Arkansas
6. Oklahoma (highest 1-loss team)
5. Boise State (slipped 1 spot)
4. Stanford
3. Oklahoma State
2. Alabama
1. LSU
Oklahoma moved up from No. 9 all the way to No. 6 with an impressive win over Kansas St.
Much like Arkansas, they made a monumental leap and are in prime position to sneak into the national championship game. Talk has started to swirl that Oklahoma has the potential to pass an undefeated Boise St. team and by the lack of separation between the two, it is a distinct possibility.
Boise St. is No. 5 with a BCS average of .8522 and Oklahoma is No. 6 with a BCS average of .7760. This may seem like a lot, but Oklahoma still has remaining games against Texas A&M and Oklahoma St. Running the table would more than likely allow Oklahoma to jump over Boise St. who only has TCU remaining on their schedule.
How upset would the Boise St. faithful be if they were jumped by Oklahoma and held out of a chance to play for a national championship.

The Arkansas Razorbacks find themselves up to No. 7 in the BCS rankings despite squeaking by Vanderbilt 31-28.
It is obvious the computer rankings have nothing to do with what actually happens on the field. Arkansas could easily have three or four losses, but find themselves in prime position, ahead of other one-loss teams like Oregon, Nebraska and South Carolina.
The Razorbacks give the SEC four teams in the top nine in the rankings. Arkansas at No. 7 may be the most perplexing of any of the rankings as they inexplicably move up three spots from last week. They jumped over Oregon who fell from No. 7 to No. 8 after beating Washington St. by 15.
As bad as Arkansas has looked for the most part this season, they still have an outside shot to play for a national championship and with the No. 7 ranking they are in prime position.
Conference USA has two teams in the BCS Top 25 with Southern Mississippi coming in at No. 25 and the undefeated Houston Cougars all the way up at No. 13
Southern Mississippi and Houston are on a crash course to meet in the Conference USA Championship game the first week of December. The Golden Eagles could be the only thing standing in the way of BCS bowl berth for the Houston Cougars.
The Houston offense is currently first in the country averaging 52.3 points per game and the Southern Mississippi defense is among the Top 20 in the country. It could be something to look forward to next month. If Houston finishes the season in the top 12 they get an automatic BCS bowl berth and would likely leave a one-loss team from a BCS conference on the outside looking in.

With losses by top 15 teams like Clemson, Michigan State, and Kansas State, the BCS standings will be definitely be shaken up Sunday night after a day full of great games this Saturday.
When the standings are released by the Worldwide Leader Sunday night, the top five of the BCS standings will probably look like this:
No.1 LSU: The Tigers were idle this week as the team looks forward to their showdown with the Crimson Tide next week in Tuscaloosa that has division, conference and even National Championship game implications tied to the game next Saturday.
No. 2 Alabama: Same as their SEC West rival.
No. 3 Oklahoma State: After running up the score against their conference rival Baylor Saturday, the Cowboys will look to continue to blow past their opponents until the showdown of their own in the Bedlam game against Oklahoma on December 3rd.
No. 4 Boise State: The Broncos were idle as well this week as Boise State will make a trip to Las Vegas to take on UNLV looking to improve their standing in the BCS with a blowout victory next weekend.
No. 5: Oregon: Since losing to LSU during the opening week of the season, the Ducks have done nothing but win as Oregon has won seven straight games putting up at least 41 points in every game with Darron Thomas and LaMichael James.

If it wasn't for a last second, seemingly simple missed field goal, the Arkansas Razorbacks would have been the latest victim of the upset at the hands of conference rival Vanderbilt instead holds on for a 31-28 road win Saturday.
While the W is the most important thing from today’s game, Arkansas might not be treated well by the BCS standings as the Razorbacks might possibly get passed by Virginia Tech who also had a scare today in conference play against Duke.
With home games in the next two weeks against weaker SEC teams in Tennessee and Mississippi State, the Razorbacks might want to get their game planning straight for when they make the trip to Baton Rouge on November 25th.
If Arkansas can somehow leave the bayou with a win on Black Friday, the Razorbacks could set off the biggest BCS bomb this season by knocking off the possible number one team in the country when they meet at the end of next month.

While all of the games of the week nine schedule haven’t been completed this Saturday, the winner of the worst loss of the week has been determined as Texas Tech lost to Iowa State 41-7 in Lubbock.
Yes, the same Red Raider team that upset the number three Oklahoma Sooners last week on the road in Norman.
The now ranked 20th Texas Tech will likely fall to the ranks of the unranked after the Cyclones won only their third game against the Red Raiders in 10 career meetings between the two programs.
After the losses by Texas Tech and conference rival Texas A&M Saturday, the highest ranked team from the state of Texas is the Houston Cougars from Conference USA entering week 10 of the season.
With the landscape of college football conferences continually shifting, the Big 12 could maybe trade Texas Tech to Conference USA for Houston in coming seasons. I’m just kidding, Red Raider fans.

Outside of the Houston Cougars who rank 17th in the most recent BCS standings, who is the next best non-automatic qualifying team in college football?
You don’t have to look very far from the aforementioned Cougars, the next best non-AQ team is the same league as Houston in Southern Miss, who are in the East division of Conference USA.
If it wasn’t for their loss to Marshall in early September, the Golden Eagles would undefeated just like their conference rival Houston as they have ran off five straight wins after their loss to the Thundering Herd.
Southern Miss and Houston could meet in the Conference USA Championship game this year if the Golden Eagles can get past the pass happy offense of East Carolina next week in Greenville, NC.
If the two dominant teams of C-USA do meet on December 3rd, Houston and Southern Miss might put on the best game of all the games during conference championship week in December.

With the Big Ten staging their first conference championship game in the history of the league, who will be the BCS representative for the conference in the Rose Bowl?
The most overlooked team in the conference has to be the leader of the Leaders division in Penn State that have gotten no exposure this season but have only rattled off seven straight wins since losing to Alabama in early September.
In the Legends division, Denard Robinson and the Michigan Wolverines are set for a defacto division title game takes place when Nebraska makes their first trip to the Big House since 1962 as a Big Ten title game berth is on the line on November 19th.
With a likely matchup long time Big Ten rivals Michigan and Penn State set for the first Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis in December, the Wolverines will likely take their 43rd conference title and first trip to the BCS since their 2007 loss to USC in the Rose Bowl.

It seems as though the upset bug is going to hit again this weekend as Georgia Tech is blowing out the number five Clemson Tigers at halftime of their game in Atlanta Saturday night.
If the Tigers do drop tonight’s game against the Yellow Jackets, the race for the BCS National Championship game might have opened up for those that are currently in the top 10 of the standings.
The one team that could benefit the most from Clemson losing to Georgia Tech would the perennial BCS chaser, the Boise State Broncos.
Boise State still has a big game against TCU at home in conference play in mid November that could help push the team up higher in the standings if Oklahoma State loses to Oklahoma on December 3rd.
Can Boise State make it to number two in the standings before the end of the season or will they once again be left out of the BCS title game?

With Texas A&M’s losing another last second game to future SEC rival Missouri Saturday, the Aggies have proved to be a huge disappointment this season and will likely plummet from the BCS standings Sunday night.
Texas A&M came into 2011 with huge expectations as they looked to leave the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference in 2012 by taking the conference title and kissing their former conference mates in their conference expansion raveled league.
While it’s not like the Aggies have vastly underperformed this season, the combined score for Texas A&M’s three losses this season is only 13 points in games versus Oklahoma State, Arkansas and Missouri.
As Texas A&M packs up shop and heads for the SEC, Mike Sherman and the rest of the Aggies should hope that their fortunes are a little bit better as they begin play in the toughest conference in college football.

After Oklahoma State scored another blowout win today against Baylor, can the Cowboys continue this success into their season finale against their in-state rival Oklahoma Sooners?
The annual Bedlam game could be one of the best in the history of the rivalry as both Oklahoma schools could be ranked in the top 10 of the BCS, if not the top five in the standings when they meet in Norman on December 3rd.
Oklahoma State will give the Sooners their biggest challenge this season as the Cowboys’ offense has been running on all cylinders in 2011 as the unit ranks number three in the nation in total offense with more than 540 yards a game.
Can the Cowboys beat the Sooners for the first time since 2002 and push Oklahoma State into their first National Championship in school history?

As Clemson has a season that probably no one outside of the state of South Carolina expected, can the Tigers keep the ball rolling and run the table in 2011?
The road to that unblemished season will not be an easy road for the Tigers as tough games still lie ahead in November and December.
Depending if Clemson can get past Georgia Tech Saturday night in Atlanta, the Tigers will still have a tough three game stretch against ACC opponents in Wake Forest, NC State on the road and in-state rival South Carolina in Columbia in the 2011 season finale.
If the team can get past those three games unscathed, the ACC championship game in Charlotte awaits the Tigers on December 3rd against the Virginia Tech Hokies, who Clemson routed at the beginning of October in a 23-3 win in Blacksburg.
It will be a tough task to complete for Tajh Boyd, Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers but with talent on the roster, the Tigers may have enough to make a special season.

If you were Coach Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys who currently reside in the number three spot in the BCS, which team would you rather play after the titantic battle between LSU and Alabama next week?
With both SEC teams having impressive defenses, the Cowboys might have some trouble running their explosive offense led by quarterback Brandon Weeden and his playmaking wide receiver Justin Blackmon if they meet in the National Championship game in January.
If I would have to pick between the two evils of the Tigers and the Crimson Tide, Alabama would be my choice to play Oklahoma State as the Tide offense hasn’t been as prolific as their rivals from Baton Rouge.
No matter who the Pokes play at the end of the season, it’s going to be a tough test prying the BCS trophy from the SEC after winning the championship the last five years.
