Houston is coming off of a convincing win over the Tennessee Titans last week and is looking to ride that momentum.
RB Arian Foster eclipsed 100 yards in both receiving yards and rushing yards, something no Houston Texan has ever done.
Star WR Andre Johnson has been ruled out of the game and this is not very good news for Houston.
Jacksonville will look to get RB Maurice Jones-Drew involved and win the time-of-possession battle. That will keep the Jags defense rested on the sideline, which makes the defense more effective.
If Houston does stop him, then that gives Houston's offense more time on the field. Which also means the Jags defense will stay on the field; getting worn out and giving Houston a better chance to break off some big plays.
The easiest path to victory for Houston will be to come out firing on offense. If they can score early then that will force the Jaguars to go to the air to keep up.
In that case, Houston's pass rush will have a field day with rookie QB Blaine Gabbert and Houston should win easily.
Final score: Jacksonville 14, Houston 24
