Rangers fans, Cardinals fans, MLB fans alike... GET ON YOUR FEET!
Well not really, unless you're actually at the game, then I'm sure it's fine.
The Cardinals' World Series hopes are on the line Wednesday night as they face off against the Rangers in a season-defining Game 6 matchup. While the bats and the bullpen controversy have taken center stage during much of the series, Game 6 revolves around the starting pitching matchup.
After one of the strangest innings of bullpen management, Tony La Russa finds his team facing elimination. However, he sends Jaime Garcia to the mound, who has been stellar in his last two postseason starts.
Garcia took the no-decision in Game 3 after hurling seven shutout innings, allowing three hits, one walk, and striking out seven.
Though Garcia has been very impressive over his last two starts, the Rangers send Colby Lewis after 6.2 innings of one-run ball in game three. The 32-year-old right-hander took one of the stranger paths to the major leagues.
After stints with three separate teams between '02 and '07, Lewis found himself playing in Japan for the Hiroshima Carp. After two years, he returned to the States where he signed a two-year deal with the Rangers.
After a couple big seasons and a second World Series appearance, he has a chance to help his team earn a championship, which they were so close to last year.
Whether you're a fan of the Rangers, Cardinals or simply baseball in general, Wednesday night's crucial Gamd 6 is sure not to disappoint. Either we shall crown a new champion, or we will be forced into a decisive Game 7 situation.
Gear up and follow along, because it's time to play ball.

It was a ninth, 10th & 11th inning that you had to see to believe as the Rangers blew two-run leads in the ninth and the 10th, and the Cardinals forced a Game 7.
Down to his last strike in the ninth, Cardinals' 3B David Freese sent a rocket to the right-field wall to score Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman. Tony La Russa celebrated in the dugout and you could tell the Texas Rangers were in a little bit of awe after coming so close to a World Series title.
After no postseason homers, Rangers' star Josh Hamilton took to the dish with Elvis Andrus on first base. He proceeded to deposit a Jason Motte delivery into the centerfield bleachers, giving the Rangers another two-run lead in the 10th.
The Cards once again fought back in the 10th inning as Lance Berkman scored Albert Pujols for the game-tying run. It was one of the most exciting games of the season, but eventually, it had to end.
It was again Freese that came through in the clutch as he sent a Mark Lowe offering over the centerfield wall. Freese, the hometown kid was greeted by his entire team, who proceeded to shred his jersey off.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have Game 7 in the World Series. You're Welcome.
Somebody get this man a shaving cream pie!
WOW! the hometown kid David Freese comes up with the biggest hit of his career with a walk-off homer. Cards win 10-9, but more importantly force a Game 7.
German is insterted to left field and Murphy shifts to right with Nelson Cruz hobbling in the dugout.
German hacks at the second pitch and grounds out to second to end the threat. Can the Cardinals score for the fourth inning in a row?
Murphy flys out to centerfield and the Rangers turn to Esteban German to get Napoli in from first.
Scott Feldman is out of the game.

Napoli starts an 11th-inning rally. It's his fifth time on base tonight alone. Maybe they should let this guy pitch, he can do everything else.

With Jake Westbrook on the bump, Nelson Cruz flies out to Lance Berkman for the first out of the inning. These bullpens could be very warn out for a potential Game 7.
The one good thing about being on the West coast? It's only 9:30.
We're going to the 11th, folks.
I'm a little speechless... typeless.
The decision to walk Pujols backfires as Berkman sends a single to centerfield to score Descalso.
We are indeed tied once again in the bottom of the 10th, 9-9.
Um....
Theriot grounds to third but the run scores. Pujols at the plate. But they'll intentionally walk him to get to Lance Berkman.
Scott Feldman on to pitch trying to record the first save of his entire career.

I need to take a timeout to say this.
Ryan Theriot is currently at the plate, but unless we see a flyout double play, we are going to see Albert Pujols at the plate in the bottom of the 10th with the game on the line.
I repeat, Pujols at the plate with game on the line.
I promise you, if you wrote this story out, it wouldn't have been anywhere as good as this.
Time in.
Crazy hop on the bunt and Lohse almost puts down a bunt single. Great play by Elvis Andrus.
Strike that, Kyle Lohse on to put the bunt down. Yup, another pitcher.
41-year-old Darren Oliver gives up back-to-back singles and EDWIN JACKSON, the pitcher, comes up to the plate. This is postseason baseball ladies and gentlemen.
The Rangers are once again three outs from a championship.
This is too much. Josh Hamilton's first postseason homerun and it's the biggest. Hamilton crushes ball to centerfield and the Rangers are back up by two in the 10th inning.
Tony La Russa looking not-so-happy in the dugout.
Base-hit for Elvis Andrus with one out in the 10th inning.
I don't believe what I just saw.
Feliz gives up a two-run double to David Freese with two outs and the Cards have tied it up in St. Louis. We head to the top of the 10th inning.
GO CRAZY FOLKS!
All comes down to David Freese.
Allen Craig strikes out and the Cards are down to their LAST OUT.
DRAMA...Allen Craig comes to the plate after Pujols double and a Berkman walk.
Craig has homered in his only at-bat tonight. Can this kid seriously do it again?
