Just because you win one game, your team is not either A) good or B) going to string together a winning streak, thus shooting your mediocre team to the playoffs.

That’s right I’m talking to you Cowboys, Jets and Browns fans. Your team either beat a team that is really bad or got lucky against a team that imploded in the second half.

Last week was a mirage to a season that will finish with your team going 8-8, 9-7 or 10-6, with the end result being a missed play-off berth.

This week, it will all come crashing down for two of these teams and eventually the next week for another, and here is why.

Dallas Cowboys

Yes, it was a great win over a very bad St. Louis Rams club. If your ‘Boys would have lost this game at home, it would have sent this ship down to the bottom of the NFL ocean.

But, quarterback Tony Romo lives another week, as rookie running back DeMarco Murray broke out a huge game, which should push Felix Jones and Tashard Choice down the Cowboys' depth chart.

However, this week against their rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, they will lose all the good vibes and thoughts that came from the Rams game. After this week, the mentality will be back to hating Tony Romo, questioning the play-calling and wondering where the leadership is.

New York Jets

The Jets won a good game against the Chargers at home. It was their first win on the season against a team with a record of over .500, let alone a team that is in first place in their division.

However, all of that great momentum comes to a crashing halt this week, as the Jets are on a bye week.

Sometimes a bye week is great for a team, as it helps them get healthy. But, in the case of the Jets, it comes at a horrible time.

After the bye week, the Jets have to try to regain their momentum against a really good Buffalo Bills team, who they’re chasing in the AFC East division, then follow it up with a game against the Patriots.

If they were able to play these two teams and then have the bye week, it would be a different story. But with the bye week coming after their biggest win, this team will have lost all of their momentum.

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland, you won a good defensive game against the Seattle Seahawks. However, you still sit at the bottom of the AFC North Division, with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

This week your team has to travel across the country to play a very good San Francisco 49ers team, which will result in a bad loss.

Three teams that will either lose this week or next, when they get off of their bye week. The loss will put them behind a lot of teams they are trying to chase down for either their division or a wild-card spot in the playoffs.
