Ryan McBean Arrested: Denver Broncos Must Cut Ties with Troubled DT
It's been a crazy couple days in Denver, Colorado for the Broncos organization.
There have been many moves made on the roster and a recent development could mean that there are more to come.
For a team that has recently been clearing house and forming a new identity in Denver, this could be the end of the road for McBean.
McBean has had a less than illustrious career thus far. The 2007 fourth-round draft pick landed in Pittsburgh where he was cut after playing in just one game.
He landed in Denver where he has done nothing to make his name known. In fact, he registered the first sack of his career in last week's game against the Chargers.
I guess finally getting a sack was just too much to handle for McBean.
The Broncos are already in rebuilding mode, so the move to get rid of McBean may just be in the best interest of the team. There is no reason to keep players around that could potentially damage what the organization is trying to build.
In the last week, Tim Tebow was named the starting quarterback. Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Lloyd has been traded to St. Louis. Wide receiver Eddie Royal is also on the trade block.
Don't be surprised if the next move Denver makes is cutting their ties with McBean.
