Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans: Live Score, Highlights, and Analysis
The Browns take on the Tennessee Titans today at Cleveland Browns Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
A cold and windy day in Cleveland could create some interesting storylines for this game.
For the Titans, CJ2K has been bundled up so far this season. With only 92 yards on the season, Johnson is bound to breakout for a big game, but the Browns are really hoping that they can prolong the big game for at least one more week.
The Titans also took a big hit last week when Kenny Britt went down for the season with a torn ACL, leaving them begging for answers at the receiver position. Quarterback Matthew Hasselbeck has been good for the Titans this season, posting a 102.2 QB rating, but without Britt and with the terrible weather today in Cleveland, he could be in for some trouble.
The Browns are coming off of a huge win against the Dolphins in which through about three quarters they looked completely disheveled. Colt McCoy looked rattled and appeared as though he couldn't complete a pass.
The defense for the Browns stepped up, however, and were able to keep the Dolphins to one touchdown and three field goals. Peyton Hillis was out with strep throat, but Montario Hardesty picked up right where Hillis left off, averaging around four yards a carry.
Today for the Browns, expect Hardesty to get a few more carries as Hillis is just getting back into the swing of things. The Titans come in with the No. 1 defense in the NFL, so the Browns are going to have to really come in and move the ball slowly but surely if they want to score points.

The Titans came out firing today. Matt Hasselbeck threw three first half touchdowns to put the Titans ahead 21-6 in the first half. Chris Johnson really didn't look like much in the first half of action, but Hasselbeck's performance carried the team. The second half didn't consist of much for the Titans. Chris Johnson gained yards little by little, ending up with 100 for the first time this season. Hasselbeck didn't look like much either.
As for the Browns, they were dominated by the Titans' pass offense in the first half. The YAC were the big problem. Hasselbeck had two huge plays by Jared Cook Jr. and Nate Washington that lead to short touchdown passes. Colt McCoy and the offense couldn't move the ball down the field once they got into Titan territory.
They would get to the 30 yardline and stall, causing them to kick early field goals.
In the second half, which was mostly garbage time, Colt McCoy moved the ball very well down the field and lead the Browns to their first and only touchdown of the game.
Hillis was hard to be found as he was coming off of strep throat, and Hardesty couldn't catch the rock, but was okay not the ground.
The Browns have a bye week next week, which should help them immensely to improve and work on the things they need to work on. They then go out to play an improved Oakland team.
At 2-2 the Browns are tied for second place in the division with Pittsburgh and Cincincinnati.
Thank you for tuning in.
Have a good two weeks, and we'll see you when the Browns play the Raiders!
FINAL: Titans 31 Browns 13. Titans improve to 3-1. Browns fall to 2-2.
40 for 60. Colt McCoy was 40 for 60 in this game.
59 attempts by McCoy is also a team record.
39 completions is a team record for the Browns.Great for Colt. Something good to come out of a bad game.
Hardesty almost dropped another one... Come on. I know the throws aren't perfect but still.
Locker's first NFL pass attempt was off the mark.
100 yards for Johnson.
Chris Johnson just elapsed his total from the first three games.
Hardesty is shaking his head. As he should. The guy dropped way too many passes today. He ran the ball well though.
Locker is in the game. Titans fans rejoice.
Bad decision by McCoy there. 6 dropped passes for the Browns today. That's way too many.
Brought it back. Good catch by Little. Not enough for the first down though. They'll go for it here.
He was over the line. They'll bring that play back.
Massaquoi with a nice catch. McCoy is going to throw for 400 yards if he keeps this up.
First Browns QB to throw 300 yards since Anderson. Hardesty needs some stickum. That's either the 4th or 5th drop.
McCoy is 35 of 52. Talk about West Coast Offense. I'm loving it throw. That puts him over 300 yards. Like I said if you're going to lose, pad the stats.
GREAT play by Colt. Way to extend the play and avoid that tackle.
Great blitz pickup by Pashos. Horrible decision and throw by McCoy.
Dopped by Little.
McCoy forced that one. Locker getting ready on the sidelines. First down Massaquoi.
Hillis averages 4.6 yards per carry. Why has he not gotten the ball more?
Flag on the play. On what I wonder. Holding on the Titans.
Hasselbeck has looked bad in this second half. He played well enough in the first half that that does not matter.
Johnson stuffed again.
