As I watched the Ducks dominate the Beavers at Reser Stadium in the first half, I looked to my Beaver friend sitting next to me and said, "You still have the second half," and he replied, we don't have a chance.

Boy, was he right! The Beavers never got the stops they needed and the Ducks completely dominated the game from start to the finish scoring a record 65 points for a CIVIL WAR game and spoiling the Beavers opportunity to play in the Rose Bowl.

This was one of the finest performances by the Ducks from start to finish I have witnessed. I predicted a Duck upset but never thought it would unfold the way it did because I felt the Beavers defense would limit the running game and the Duck passing attack was subpar.

The Ducks Jeremiah Johnson and Jeremiah Masoli were both ready and played their best games against the Beavers putting an end to the two game CW winning streak the Beavers had on the Ducks.

Jeremiah Johnson ran wild against the Beavers finishing with 219 yards which included an 83 yard score. LeGarrette Blount helped out with 112 yards and a score against a Beaver Defense that was ranked 13th in the country. What can you say about Jeremiah Masoli? He just keeps getting better and better every snap he takes.

Masoli had his best game as a Duck completing 11-17 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns. The Ducks finished with 694 yards of total offense in the rout which included an 83 yard run, a 40 yard interception return, a 76 yard pass, a 45 yard pass, and a 70 yard interception return.

I feel Chip Kelly deserves the game ball for opening up the playbook and putting as much speed on the field as possible. I hope the Ducks can make Chip Kelly an offer that will keep him in Eugene until Mike is ready to take over as AD. Chip Kelly as the Head Coach calling the plays with MB upstairs running the entire Athletic Department is a good thing. I sure hope it works out this way.

It was fun walking around Reser in my Duck gear with a smile that went from ear to ear as the Ducks pelted the Beavers 65-38! As a side note, the tailgaiting was top notch and the Beaver fans treated me pretty well for being a DUCK on their turf. This game experience ranks in my top 10.

It looks like the QUACK ATTACK will be heading to Sunny San Diego to play in the Holiday Bowl.
