WWE Hell in a Cell: Predictions You Can Take to the Bank

0 of 5

Just two weeks after Night of Champions, WWE will produce another one of their pay-per-views, Hell in a Cell. There are six matches scheduled for the event.

Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title, Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara (Yes, for real), Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix for the Divas Title, Air Boom vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger is being advertised, Sheamus vs. Christian and John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Title is the match card for the event.

A lot of things have happened in the past few weeks, and it's been hard to keep up with programming for the event. Other than the obvious, starting a few weeks ago, Sin Cara was in a match while another version of Cara came in and interrupted the match.

This led to the match which will take place on Sunday.

My only problem with the pay-per-view is that Cody Rhodes is not advertised or rumored to be in a match one bit. I did incorporate Cody in my predictions, so you guys and gals will just have to wait.

Hell in a Cell has the potential to be a great show. They can go one of two ways with it. Each storyline could stop and new ones could continue, or they could lead to Vengeance.

I'm not too sure which one makes me more comfortable with programming. The smart way to go would be to end the storylines and create new ones that last through Vengeance and come to a fantastic finish at Survivor Series.

Without further ado, the predictions for Hell in a Cell that you can take to the bank!

1. Sheamus vs. Christian

1 of 5

These potatoes aren't from Ireland....they're from Idaho. Two weeks ago on Smackdown, the Great White screwed Christian in his lumberjack match for the World Heavyweight Title.

The next week on Raw, a 10-man battle royal for the Intercontinental Title took place. In the match was Sheamus, and it came down to him and Cody Rhodes. They went back and forth; Sheamus eventually had Cody on the outside ropes.

Before Sheamus hit the Broughe kick, Christian interfered and returned the favor. I guess you could say he got his Vengeance. Whoops, wrong pay-per-view.

This feud should escalate into the next pay-per-view, if they want to keep Christian relevant.

Prediction: I will take Sheamus in this one, only to keep the storyline going. Hopefully it will propel to a grand finale at Vengeance, and then Christian will come out on top there.

2. Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix for the Divas Championship

2 of 5

This match has me thinking. I honestly don't have a clue who is going to win. The past two pay-per-views, we saw the Glamazon go in as the favorite, just to have Kelly Kelly retain her title via roll-up pin.

Although, the recent episode of Raw has me pondering a different outcome tonight. Instead of the standard tag match between the Divas of Doom and K2/Eve upset, Beth dominated Kelly and was the victor.

Is this foreshadowing of what is to come? This is the third title match for Beth, and if she loses this one, her championship hopes may be broken.

Prediction: I will take Beth Phoenix in this contest, and that will start the Divas of Doom era.

3. Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara

3 of 5

The botch-masters themselves, Hunico and Mistico have been in a "feud" for the past few weeks. We haven't seen a match yet, but one Sin Cara has been interfering in each others matches.

To put in simply, the original Sin Cara is the smaller one, while the new SIn Cara is a bit heavier. Also, one is the face and the newer one is the heel.

I'll be honest, there isn't much to say about this battle, except that we will see dimmed lights and botched moves.

Predictions: Sin Cara will win. Oh wait, you want to know which one. I'll take the heel Cara. This should extend the "feud" until Vengeance.

4. Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton

4 of 5

Now here is a match I'm going to be excited for. It is Mark Henry and Randy Orton inside a cell. WWE has done a great job building Henry to be this gigantic super-human.

Here is a list of the Hall of Pain: Jerry Lawler, the Big Show, Kane and Randy Orton could possibly be in this list after tonight.

This match is very hard to predict because there is two sides of the spectrum. One is the fact that Orton is the face of Smackdown.

He is being portrayed as the Cena on the blue brand. It's hard to imagine Orton without a title for longer than a couple months. Yes, it has become that sad.

As for Sexual Chocolate, I was surprised as anyone that he won the title two weeks ago. The man has been in the company for 15 years and finally has earned the respect of many.

One question still remains: Where does Cody Rhodes fit into all of this?

WWE has teased an Orton/Rhodes feud down the line, and maybe it will start tonight. I'm in favor of keeping the IC belt on Rhodes, just to make it relevant again.

Prediction: Mark Henry will retain his title due to interference from Rhodes. That's right IWC, Orton will lose at two consecutive pay-per-views. Happy?

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk

5 of 5

CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio and John Cena will go to hell tonight. Each have claims to being victorious, and the most obvious one is Alberto Del Rio.

According to wrestlezone.com, it seems as if CM Punk is headed for a feud with the Mexican Aristocrat. This could only mean one thing: Both of these men sound like the logical choice to win the title.

With all of that said, where does this leave John Cena? His only feud is with the two opponents for his title, and we don't have a clue where he goes from this.

Stone Cold, in an interview, talked about how he doesn't think Del Rio is ready for the title yet. I personally agree, but with a win tonight, ADR could prove himself as a legitimate champion.

His title reign lasted one month, and he had only one defense. Other than that, he was an awful champion.

As for CM Punk, he was in an entrenched feud with management and HHH, but like I mentioned earlier, he will do a program with ADR, which Monday prepared us for.

Where does this match go? Were definitely going to see Awesome Truth, Johnny Ace and possibly even Hunter. One question always remains: In what capacity?

Prediction:  I have Del Rio winning after AT interferes, while Cena applies the STFU on Punk. Del Rio will swoop in and get the tap or pin either man.

Thanks for tuning into my predictions for tonight's show. I will be tweeting results LIVE from @BR_WWE. Please give me feedback, as I'm always willing to write better.
