Week 3 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: 3 QBs Who Will Struggle This Weekend

Michael MillSep 25, 2011

The 2011 NFL season has already seen six different 400-yard passers in just two weeks. Last season, there was only 12 times that a quarterback threw for 400 yards.

Although there are some guys that have stood out above the rest, there have been just as many struggling to get anything going.

Here are three quarterbacks who will struggle again this weekend.

Kyle Orton (Denver Broncos)

The Tennessee Titans aren't really being considered a team to beat this year, but they actually have been one of the more impressive teams defensively.

On offense the Titans can't get anything going. Defense is a different story.

The Titans are currently the third ranked defense in terms of yards allowed. They are also third in passing defense.

It was the great play from the defense that helped them pull off a huge upset win over the Ravens last week.

Be prepared for the cries for Tebow again following this week.

Donovan McNabb (Minnesota Vikings)

To say that Donovan McNabb has been disappointing in his first two starts for the Vikings may be an understatement.

In Week 1 against the Chargers, he threw for a total of 39 yards.

In Week 2, he stood under center while the Vikings blew a huge second-half lead.

In Week 3, he will face off against the seventh ranked pass defense in the league, the Detroit Lions. In two weeks the Lions have allowed only one passing touchdown and gotten four interceptions.

Not what a struggling McNabb wants to face in the Vikings first division opponent.

Jason Campbell (Oakland Raiders)

Typically, it's never a good day to be a quarterback when you have to face off against the New York Jets.

As you may expect, the Jets are currently leading the league in interceptions and are one of the top teams in opponent completion percentage.

Jason Campbell has had a decent start to the season. He has thrown for 428 yards, three touchdowns and just one interception over two games.

He was also facing the Bills and the Broncos in those two games.

The results won't be the same against the Jets.
