Got to say, seeing my local boy Robby Broughton in the UFC is a proud moment. From St. Helens, Merseyside, UK, my hometown, I am rooting for this guy. However, after seeing Browne's abilities, it's not going to be a walk in the park for Big Robby.

The fighters are in the Octagon now, so let's begin with the round by round LIVE coverage...

Travis Browne vs. Robby Broughton

Round 1:

Both fighters are weighing each other up throughout the early stages of this round. Browne lands a few punches, but none too devastating. Towards the end of the round, Browne takes Broughton down, but has no time to do any damage from the full mount position. The round comes to a close, with Browne just about edging it.

Round 2:

Browne continues to throw the high kicks to Broughton, none really landing though, His leg kicks are beginning to look increasingly more punishing however, as Broughton's movement is restricted now.

Deja vu strikes again, as Broughton is taken down easily again, but with 30 seconds left, Browne cannot muster anything of any danger up. Broughton is in survival mode at the moment.

Round 3:

Broughton is taken down earlier in the round this time, and Browne dominates from the top. Broughton is doing a great job of resisting any clean attempts at finishing by Browne.

Later in the round and BROUGHTON GOES FOR THE KIMURA! A nice cheeky attempt there by Robby, but Travis shows his skill in escaping and surely finishes the fight as the victor via a unanimous decision.

Result:

Travis Brown defeats Rob Broughton via three-round unanimous decision.
