WWE Newcomers: Getting To Know Kizarny

Bleacher ReportNov 26, 2008

In recent weeks on Smackdown there have been promotions for a new Superstar named Kizarny.

I thought that I recognised him from somewhere and I was right, so I thought I would share my findings with the wrestling community on Bleacher Report and see what you think of him and what he will do on the Smackdown brand.

First off he is a childhood friend of Edge and Christian Cage, and grew up with them.  He was given the nickname, “Fatty” by them both, as stated in one of Edge’s books.   He is also of British and Serbian decent.

He is also given the title of Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ protégé and is also a close friend of the pro wrestling legend.   He also has a brother who is currently working the independent circuit, mainly in their native Canada.

To be honest I thought that he was just going to be a superstar with nothing but a big gimmick but this man has a black belt in karate!

In his career he has worked in many different organisations but most of his career he has worked on the Canadian independent circuit. However, he had a brief stint in TNA in the years 2003 and 2004 using the name “Sinn”. While he was in TNA he was mainly involved in tag matches but did have a rivalry with Raven.

After his stint in TNA, he worked a few dark matches for the WWE when they were in Canada.

In 2005 he went back to TWE (in Ontario) where he wrestled Al Snow, Robert Roode as well as WWE legends, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Pat Tanaka.

Kizarny, as he is now known, has even defended his UWA Ottawa Heavyweight title against all of the superstars above.

In 2006 and 2007, Nick Cvjetkovich (A.K.A. Kizarny) wrestled in Ohio Valley Wrestling hoping to gain a WWE contract.

Kizarny was given a WWE Developmental Contract on July the 12th 2007.  On October 13th of the same year, he made his FCW debut under the ring name of "Sinn Bowdee”.

On October 10th, he started to have promotional videos played during Smackdown.  We are still currently awaiting his arrival on the show.

Out of wrestling, he had a movie in 2002 called “Enter...Zombie King” in which he was the Zombie King.

Cvjetkovich is the writer, artist, and publisher of the “Fred the Possessed Flower” comic book series (1999-2000).  With his brother Steven, he wrote a comedy-horror novel called Between Chapters, which was self-published in September 2000. The Cvjetkovich brothers have variously published as Happy Predator Press and Happy Predator Publications.

I am looking forward to seeing what he has to offer the Smackdown brand and the WWE as a whole.

I am interested to hear what the Pro Wrestling, Bleacher Report community have to say on this new superstar.

How will he fair?  Heel or face?  Who will he compete against? Will he get a big push or most probably stay as a lower mid-carder?
