WWE: The Emmy Awards of WWE (Vote!)

On Sunday, many WWE fans may have missed the Emmy Awards as they watched Night of Champions. Most people however were tuned in to watch what TV shows would take home the big awards.
In WWE, the superstars each have their own skill sets. They could easily be compared with one another and rewarded with awards like the Emmys for their work.
Yes, the WWE has the Slammy Awards, but what are those really?
They are the WWE showing off what they did for a night.
The Emmys are about rewarding the work of men and women who have worked hard and long to entertain the television audience.
What I am writing here has no real impact on the WWE or the competitors. It is just a way of finding a forum for the opinions of the IWC on stars' individual work over the last year.
Following, I will break up a variety of categories on the work of various superstars in the WWE. You can vote in the comments for who you feel deserve the award for their work based on the nominations.
Note: I will break it down as the Emmys do by structuring it around an individual performance on a single night that should be watched before you tally a vote for toward/against the candidate.
Any performance between September 19, 2010 - September 18, 2011 is eligible. I have attempted to avoid repeats on individual performances in videos.
I'm sorry about any videos that are not full matches or do not contain matches as WWE is not keen on people having a free way to watch pay-per-view matches.
Tag Team
The tag team division has been lackluster for the past few years.
There has been a constant sense of downward momentum.
This year though, the tag team division has begun to find its footing once again.
With a few good matches and some big names entering the division, this division can only keep rising.
Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater
Performance: "WWE Superstars" (June 6, 2011)
The beginning of a series with the Usos.
Kane and Big Show
Performance: "Smackdown" (April 22, 2011)
Winning the WWE Tag Team Titles.
Jey and Jimmy Uso
Performance: "Smackdown" (June 24, 2011)
Ending a series with Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

Performance: "Raw" (September 5, 2011)
Running down the tag champions and getting themselves booked at the upcoming pay-per-view.
Diva
The Divas of WWE have not been given any real time to shine for many years now.
The division feels as if it is at a standstill. Never rising or falling.
With a lack of strong talent, a few names have shined through the rest as women who found ways to make their situation competitive and exciting.
Natalya
Performance: "TLC 2010" (December 19, 2010)
The first ever Divas tag team tables match.
Eve Torres
Performance: "Raw" (February 14, 2011)
Defending her Divas championship against Natalya.

Layla
Performance: "Extreme Rules 2011" (May 1, 2011)
Ending the career of Michelle McCool.
Performance: Comedy
A lot of this voting is fairly serious.
There is a lot of work that goes into that seriousness and drama, but there is also a light side to things as well.
Many men try to be funny in the WWE, but only a few truly succeed.
It takes charisma and skill to pull off comedy as well as drama.
R-Truth
Performance: "Raw" (August 8, 2011)
He questions questions. He hates spiders.
Santino Marella
Performance: "Smackdown" (December 10, 2010)
He is the champion.
CM Punk
Performance: "Raw" (June 20, 2011)
Making snow angels.
Zack Ryder
Performance: "Raw" (September 20, 2010)
Trying to be Edge's Broski.
Midcard Performance
These men are not the center of attention or the draws.
They are the guys who go out there each night and compete to win the fans over and keep the action of the whole night fluid.
None of these men have found a real spotlight yet, but they are still working to get to that point.
Dolph Ziggler
Performance: "Royal Rumble 2011" (January 30, 2011)
Taking it to a World Champion in Edge.
John Morrison
Performance: "Raw" (January 3, 2011)
Fighting Miz for the WWE Title.
Wade Barrett
Performance: "Hell in a Cell 2010" (October 3, 2010)
Making Cena join Nexus.
Alex Riley
Performance: "Raw" (May 23, 2011)
Beating down on the Miz.
Daniel Bryan
Performance: "Night of Champions 2010" (September 19, 2010)
Gaining his first title in the WWE off of the Miz.
Performance by a Guest or Part-Time Performer
Every year, the WWE brings in or brings back big stars.
This year may have had some of their biggest returns ever especially since many of their long time veterans are quickly becoming part-time competitors.
It is sad to see these men leave, but it makes it even better when they come back.
The Rock
Performance: "Raw" (February 14, 2011)
He is back.
The Undertaker
Performance: "Raw" (February 21, 2011)
2-21-11 is the day Undertaker came back.
Kevin Nash
Performance: "Raw" (August 15, 2011)
Back and forth with CM Punk.
Triple H
Performance: "Night of Champions 2011" (September 18, 2011)
Taking the fight to CM Punk, defending his COO status.
Edge
Performance: "Smackdown" (September 16, 2011)
Getting Orton and Henry riled up on the Cutting Edge.
Performance in the Ring
In WWE, hundreds of matches happen during the year.
Some are horrible.
Some are boring, but there are some that truly stand out as testaments to the art of professional wrestling.
To truly make a match great, both men involved must work their hardest to both compete and tell a story.
Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler
Performance: "Bragging Right 2010" (October 24, 2010)
US Champion vs. Intercontinental Champion.
Alberto Del Rio and Christian
Performance: "Extreme Rules 2011" (May 1, 2011)
Christian's first World Heavyweight Title.
CM Punk and John Cena
Performance: "Money in the Bank 2011" (July 17, 2011)
CM Punk makes good on his word.
Triple H and the Undertaker
Performance: "Wrestlemania XXVII" (April 3, 2011)
The Streak is tested by the Game.
Christian and Randy Orton
Performance: "Summerslam 2011" (August 14, 2011)
The final conflict in this long rivalry.
Main Event Performance
These are the men who sit at the top of the pedestal.
They have worked themselves to the bone to get the attention of the fans and compete at a level worthy of their status.
Some must scratch and claw their way to the top. Some seem to be born there.
Regardless, being the main event is the biggest and hardest job in professional wrestling because everyone's attention focuses on you.
CM Punk
Performance: "Raw" (June 27, 2011)
The Shoot.
John Cena
Performance: "Raw" (February 21, 2011)
Rapping on The Rock.
Randy Orton
Performance: "Extreme Rules 2011" (May 1, 2011)
Putting down the evil Nexus leader.
The Miz
Performance: "Raw" (March 14, 2011)
Destroying Cena as the Rock.
Please Vote!
Please leave your comments on who deserves to win each "award".
This is a way of seeing how the IWC truly feels about the WWE's individual performances.
Also, leave comments if you feel a performance has been snubbed for an award.
Voting closes on Saturday, September 24 at 7:00 PM with final results being posted Sunday, September 25 at 10:00 AM.
