6 Realistic Returns That Would Shake Up WWE Programming

0 of 6

The WWE has become a little stale over the past few weeks, especially compared to the excitement we were used to over the summer. So in my opinion, the WWE needs to do something to spice things up.

The following are realistic returns. Some of them may not be major, but they could all definitely bring excitement back to WWE. I'm not saying Jeff Hardy will return (regardless of the picture above), but these other returns are more understandable.

This list predicts possible returns by the impact they would have on WWE, not the likelihood of them actually happening. You won't see any Kurt Angles or Brock Lesnars on this list, because as much as we would like to see them return, it is just not happening.

6. Vince McMahon

1 of 6

Not that this return would change the WWE dramatically, but it would breathe new life into a sinking feud between Triple H and CM Punk. It's only a matter of time before Vince returns, although he may already be commanding the culprit, John Laurinatis, as we speak. Vince's return won't be a shocker, but it could be a breath of fresh air.

(Note: Vince McMahon WILL be returning to WWE TV within the next few weeks)

    Chances Of Returning:

    10/10

    Immediate Impact:

    2/10

5. Kharma

2 of 6

Kharma will be returning at some point in the future; the exact time is uncertain, though. In her few weeks with WWE, she gained extreme popularity and seemed to be heading to the main event for Divas. In her first time speaking, she announced that she was pregnant and would be taking a one year absence from WWE. Though it won't be soon, Kharma's return will surely excite the WWE Universe, just as her first stint did.

    Chances Of Returning:

    7/10

    Immediate Impact:

    6/10, 10/10 in Divas' division

4. Shane McMahon

3 of 6

I certainly hope Shane McMahon returns to WWE in the near future. He was extremely effective in his long time with WWE and could add something to the current storyline involving CM Punk and Triple H. Perhaps Shane could return, believing that he should be COO of WWE instead of Triple H, being Vince McMahon's son and all. Shane's return could temporarily reignite the feud, and a high-profile return to television could draw in more viewers. The only reason this may be possible is because Shane is the son of Vince McMahon, and a return is only one phone call away.

    Chances Of Returning:

    2/10

    Immediate Impact:

    6/10

3. Michelle McCool

4 of 6

Without a doubt one of the greatest Divas of the decade, Michelle McCool made a shocking departure from WWE earlier this year. She was always at the top of her game and easily one of the most well-rounded Divas in WWE of late. Michelle has hinted at a return on Twitter, but nothing is certain. Her return would extend past the Divas' division and boost the entire WWE.

    Chances Of Returning:

    5/10

    Immediate Impact:

    8/10

2. Mick Foley

5 of 6

Another return that is almost official is that of Mick Foley. Foley has said that he will be returning, although I'm not sure how he will fit into the current programming. Perhaps he could be involved with The Rock, reforming "Rock and Sock Connection." Whatever it is, though, I will be happy to see this legend return to WWE TV.

    Chances Of Returning:

7/10 (Foley has expressed interest in a behind the scenes job, so a return to television is not certain)

    Immediate Impact:

    7/10

1. Chris Jericho

6 of 6

My favorite Superstar of all-time, Chris Jericho, has been away from WWE since last October. In my opinion, this is far too long. Of course, you're hearing that from a true Jerichoholic. Chris does not have a weakness; he is at the top of the class in every category.

Charisma: One of the best in WWE history.

Ability to Cut Promos: Chris Jericho is arguably the greatest talker to ever set foot in a WWE ring. His monotone, suit and tie gimmick has inspired the likes of Cody Rhodes and The Miz.

In-Ring Ability: Throughout his career, Chris Jericho has transformed from a green, young talent to an established future Hall of Famer. His ring ability has improved tremendously, to the point where Jericho is now viewed as a master of the squared circle.

So, as I was saying before I felt the need to go on a rant about Y2J, Chris Jericho's return has been awaited for months now, and I hope Chris is almost ready to return. It doesn't matter who the feud is with; Chris will turn it into gold. Bring Jericho back and I can guarantee the WWE will be recharged for a while.

    Chances Of Returning:

8/10 (At some point, Chris will certainly be returning, but the question is when)

    Immediate Impact:

    10/10
